A beautiful, traditional property in a great location with very friendly host.

A beautiful property with traditional features and furniture. A lovely large garden space to relax in and enjoy - we were also able to enjoy any treats from the garden that were ready, in our case, some tomatoes and fresh herbs. The house itself was also very spacious with lots of space to relax in. A great location for walking into Bled to explore the town and lake without being right in the town centre; a more peaceful location. Our host, Marjana, was very friendly and met us in person. When we had an issue and couldn’t work out how to use the oven, Marjana immediately phoned me to help and told me where I could find the instruction manual (it was actually very simple when you knew how to use it). We’d also like to highly recommend the BledBreakfast company (there was a flyer for this in the accommodation) - we ordered a breakfast basket for four people and it was delivered the next day to our day. The produce is all locally sourced, fresh and absolutely delicious.

Great location and great house

Everything was great. The house is well equipped and has everything you need. The location is perfect for visiting Bled lake and close drive to Pokljuka. We had dogs with us, and it was just perfect vacation.

Old Slovenian house experience

A great place to experience an old Slovenian house. The owner was welcoming. The house has everything you need to be self-sufficient, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. We enjoyed staying in the back garden during the evenings. For us it was the exploration base to visit the area so we used it only for sleeping. It's worth all the money if you use it at full capacity and take advantage of all of it's facilities, for us being only 3 persons it was a bit expensive to rent the whole place but nevertheless we liked it. Being an old house with very thick walls it was naturally cool inside not AC needed, very pleasant to sleep.

The 15-20 minutes walk to the city center becomes an issue if you are doing a lot of walking / trekking during the day and you are already tired. If you have bikes then it's very easy to get around as Bled has a great infrastructure.

The house is excellent maintained, really well equipped, heating works great, the garden was beautiful.

Basics like salt, sugar, napkings could be included so you don't have to worry of details.
