Corte Rota Terrace San Marco

De accomodaties is netjes en voorzien van alle basisbenodigdheden die we in NL gewend zijn. Restaurants en bezienswaardigheden zijn op loopafstand. Tip voor toekomstige gasten: Neem vanaf de luchthaven Marco Polo de watertaxi rechtstreeks naar halte San Zaccaria. Vanaf halte San Zaccaria is het 10min. lopen naar de accommodatie.

De douchecabine is ontzettend smal. En het ophangsysteem van de douchekop is kapot, waardoor deze enkel als handdouche is te gebruiken. De waterdruk van de douche is minimaal, daarom is haren wassen voor iemand met lang en dik haar onmogelijk. Het matras was heel erg zacht, waardoor wij helaas rugpijn kregen. Er waren medio maart al veel muggen en de accommodatie heeft geen horren!! Een hordeur naar het terras zou zeer wenselijk zijn. Waarschuwing voor mensen met een lengte rond 1,90 meter: in de woonkamer en de opgang naar de badkamer toe moet u bukken, want anders stoot u uw hoofd vanwege het zeer lage plafond met balken.

Posizione fantastica, immersa nel centro storico, molto vicino a piazza san marco e con calle e campi molto vivi in prossimità ( tanti locali, negozi e ristoranti). Offre un’esperienza autentica di vivere nel pieno centro di Venezia. La casa è spaziosa e la cucina offre le attrezzature necessarie per cucinare.

L’appartamento è ricavato dalla ristrutturazione grossolana di ciò che sembrava una cantina al piano terra di un palazzo vecchiotto, all’interno di un cortile non molto curato (molto autentico). Purtroppo c’è odore forte di umidità persistente ( viaggio ad agosto, non c’era acqua alta). Si notano tracce di umidità che hanno danneggiato da terra porte e battiscopa. Parte del mobilio è datato. La pulizia del pavimento e generale lascia a desiderare. Solo le lenzuola e la biancheria erano ben puliti. C’è un condizionatore portatile bloccato all’ingresso che raffresca bene il soggiorno con divano letto, ma purtroppo non raffresca la camera. Per il prezzo richiesto non è corretto offrire una casa non ben pulita e maleodorante. Se si è disposti a questo compromesso, per vivere la Venezia autentica può andare bene. Se cercate modernità e ambiente nuovo/ ben pulito lasciate perdere.

Very central, in a great location. Quite a unique apt, a very old world looking with beams and feel, which was nice. There's a nice little outdoor area that came in handy at night to sit out. All modcons are available. The guy that met us with the keys was very nice, gave us good information, thank you.

The photos are taken with a wide angle lens for sure. The place is small but still doable for a few days for 4 adults. There is a bit of a damp smell, but it's Venice, so it was to be expected. Nothing that you couldn't get over. Lastly, the air conditioning wasn't great. It was in the sitting room and was very noisy. They did give fans for the sitting room and bedroom, but it's summertime, so it was still uncomfortable. You'd be fine at other times of year, and I would still go back and stay again.
