We liked the location and the place was ok

We liked that it was close to the station and the town for shops and restaurants . Good to have an ironing board and iron.

The property was quite tired with patchy paintwork on the bedroom ceiling and in the bathroom. Bathroom extractor fan was full of dust. The outside space was really tiny- just a small table outside the front door.

I wouldn’t stay there again or recommend it.

It was a quiet residential area other than the noise of the train going by every 10 - 15 minutes.

It was run down and damp. I don’t know how it was rated an 8.2 it should have been a 2.8. The train going by every 15 minutes kept us awake as did someone with a leaf blower at 5:30 in the morning. The bedding and towels were old, the bed uncomfortable. We had to get the neighbour to help us unlock the door as the door lock and the handle were lose and needed replacing.

Very good

The location was great and the host was excellent. We were allowed to leave our luggage after checking out. The house was very clean and has a nice bedroom and a decent bathroom. The kitchen seems well equipped, although we did not use it.

The Wifi was poor, however, we were informed by the host that this was due to bad weather and affected the whole region. One of the bedroom power plugs was loose but we reported this to the host too and she acknowledged it and this should be taken care of. The main door is slightly jammed.

Superb

Everything was perfect. Position is just perfect, 1 min walking from the sea front, 5min from the train station, and the north walking trail. City centre with more shops is 5/8min away walking. House is clean, it has all you need, clean and quiet. Host was really nice, polite, friendly.

Pleasant

The location was great and the place itself was a decent size.

The host didn’t meet me personally. I had no idea what the wifi password was, how to use the washing machine or where to hang my clean clothes. I will say the host was prompt in response when I asked all these questions. Lastly, the host only messaged in Italian so I needed to google translate a fair bit.

Exceptional

The communication with the host was great, location was awesome, just a few minutes on foot to the beach or the train station. Also close to ferry, I strongly recommend you to also take the ferry and visit Portovenere, not only Cinque Terre. In Cinque Terre I was most amazed by Manarola and the Nessun Dorma terrace there.
