Casa Miyama

Tina and Toru were AMAZING hosts! The stay was lovely and we did 2 nights! Every meal was different and VERY delicious! I highly recommend at least 2 nights so you can explore the village as well, which Tina drove us to and was super helpful!

The whole package was excellent … the property itself, the hosts, location and the breakfast. We told the host that we needed the breakfast just the night before and they very kindly obliged.

There was nothing to not like about.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The house truly feels like a “home away from home.” Everything is very well thought out and fully equipped — nothing felt lacking. The view is beyond lovely - I spent my time lounging, reading and just looking out. The kitchen is complete with homely dinnerware, and the bathroom is clean, efficient, and very comfortable to use. We especially appreciated the small but practical details, such as drying mode in the bathroom - laundry is always a worry on travels, not this time. The toiletries were thoughtfully selected and gentle on skin. The hot tub that could be reheated is such a treat in the cold evenings. The beds were comfortable, and the provided pyjamas were a nice touch. I could wear them the whole day to be honest. A stay that is both restful and refined — ideal for those looking for something more private and off the usual path. We had a very comfortable stay and would happily return. This is a destination on its own.

It is a beautiful house, with wonderful meals. The hosts shared with us their stories and even showed us their goats. So if you are ever here in Miyama, book a stay here!

Something very minor- more hooks in the room and in the bathroom.
