This house is just perfect and whoever has designed it is a genius. Me and my family loved everything about it and my boyfriend was asking how much it would be to stay longer term. It's like a really nice and comfortable house with a private spa. I couldn't get enough of the outdoors bath. The sauna can get very hot too so you have more variations when it comes to temperature and preference. The big table in the kitchen was amazing and all the furniture in general was of very high quality. We slept very well - super comfy beds. They also left some free snacks for us which was nice. The region around it is so magical. We came with the bus which I guess it's not common but it was such a fun adventure. They helped us organise a taxi on the way back as the bus schedule was more complicated, but otherwise bus or car - both are totally fine. There is a really nice restaurant not too far, we went on a 30-40 minute walk, close to the shop. I would love to come back to this house one day!

I didn't like leaving haha! Also, the check in and check out are not flexibly but when you arrive, you really won't care about it as the house is perfect.

Truly amazing house in a newly renovated traditional house in the middle of a small village deep in the countryside. Every thing is brand new and top-notch, including a sauna, outside bath and indoor bath. The beddings were super soft and the host gave us detailed information when we arrived. Quite close to the traditional kayabuki no Sato village by car.

Do bring your food before you get there as supermarkets and konbini are spare.

Stunning, immaculate, new, architectural gem! Large, perfect for whole family. Well equipped, high end appliances. Sauna, hot tub and cold plunge pool - very fun bonus. Excellent, courteous and welcoming host. Located in rural, scenic mountainous region. Close to Miyama’s picturesque Kayabuki-no-Sato district with historic, thatched-roof homes. Recommend new Beans Cafe, Miyama - excellent coffee and food.

Will need a car as rural. Recommend picking up food from nearby supermarket to self cater and enjoy accommodation. Very limited restaurant access as rural though there are some great options with a little research.
