Right in the heart of Tours

Fabulous location, and great to have parking in the heart of the city. Good space for a family of four and well equipped. The air conditioning was a blessing!

Reversing the car into the parking space was quite tricky, but it was great to have parking at such a central property.

Perfect location and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended!

Location is perfect with the old town within easy walking distance i.e. less than 200m! The house was well equipped with everything that we could have needed including parking for our car. Our host Isabelle even called around with a second set of keys when requested as we were two couples. Also she helped us sort out our departure on Sunday due to the whole centre of Tours being closed for the Marathon. We couldn't have asked for more!

Wi-Fi Internet is sketchy in the evenings and drops off a lot but that's not the owner's fault, more of a network issue. More power sockets in the bedrooms would be nice as outlets for charging devices were scarce. Also more storage in the bedrooms would have been nice for clothes. We were lucky in that we could use the 3rd single bedroom for storage as we weren't using it for sleeping.

A quiet place in the city center.

Located in the city center just aside Baslique Saint-Martin de Tours and Tour Charlemagne. Need to contact host first for setting the arriving time and the host will wait on the street for opening the gate. There is a private car parking place in the yard. The passage is a little bit narrow but not too difficult to drive in. The house is clean and capacious with a nice quiet courtyard. The kitchen was well equipped, and we cooked our breakfast there. All of my family was satisfied with the house.

This will be, for sure, the place which I'll choose when I come back to Tours!

The location is super central. You need less then 15 min to go the gare and less then 5min to go to Place Plumereau where you can find a lot of good places to eat and drink. The central market (Les Halles) is in 5 min walk and there you can find all kinds of food you like. You have 2 bakeries (boulangeries) nearby, because what is French breakfast without croissant!!! The house was really clean and Jeanny (the woman that welcomed us) was really nice!

There isn't a single thing that we didn't like, to be honest. The only problem was that they were not very flexible about leaving. You have to strictly leave at 10 am. Our train was at 12, so it was not a big deal, but this is a thing which one should have in mind OR discuss in advance.

The home is not air-conditioned. It was not a problem for us as we were there in early June but would be an issue later in the summer.

A perfect stay !

This is a hidden gem right in the middle of the mediaval centre of Tours, next to the St Martin basilica. Combining this unique location with a private parking space, an enclosed garden, and a modern yet cosy, clean and comfortable house makes it just a perfect stay. We enjoyed being able to walk to all sights, shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend. A big thank you to our warm and welcoming host Isabelle.

Central position in an historic area. well fitted out - everything we needed - easy walking distance to supermarket, botanical gardens, the river and main shops and places of interest. Lovely to have a courtyard garden.

wonderful to have parking , however it is quite tight and wouldn’t be suitable for very large 4 x4s. worth checking dimensions ! Bit nerve wracking going in and out!
