Perfect apartment for our group of 6 friends. The three en-suite bedrooms were all very comfortable, and each had a little balcony. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed and there was a small dining area too although we didn't use it. We didn't meet our host but he sent excellent check-in/out instructions and was available by WhatsApp throughout our stay. Best of all was the location - a big local food market in the streets right next to us, very close to great restaurants and bars, a few minutes walk to the Villa Bellini park, 15 minutes walk to the Piazza del Duomo, about half an hour to the Spiaggia San Giovanni Licuti for a swim. We had a fabulous 4 days in Catania.

Very central location - great for exploring the city. The host was also really helpful and answered all our question promptly and thoroughly.

Since it is a very central location it was a bit noisy.

The property was very clean and right in the centre of catania so very easy to walk to restaurants and bars. Angelo was an amazing host and allowed us to keep luggage there before the room was ready and he sent us lots of recommendations of what to do with our days there. Would definitely stay there again!

The stairs.. with suitcases this was difficult. 3/4 floors up was not easy. The area of the accommodation, although not too far from the sights, did make us feel uneasy. I did see this on Booking.com but didn't realise it would be 3/4 levels and through narrow stairwells with medium sized cases. Also the shower needs more attention.
