B&B Stella

We had a very short stay here, but we had picked it for the great location. The room was comfortable and spacious and Valeria, the host was super kind.

All was great

Large room, clean and comfortable Super friendly, helpful and kind host.

Soap dispenser was broken

The apartment offers a private room with its own bathroom, and there is a shared kitchen. Everything is spotlessly clean, the rooms and the kitchen are very comfortable, well equipped and well maintained, and the whole apartment feels light and fresh. It’s on the second floor, but there is a lift, which makes it very convenient. The location is great - just a short, easy walk from Catania Centrale station, even with luggage, and then a short walk straight up the road where the apartment is to find yourself right in the centre of the old city. Breakfast was provided via a voucher to use at a nearby bar, where the coffee is very good and the food is fresh and tasty. The hosts are excellent - Valeria was in contact before we arrived, explained the check-in arrangements, which are very simple, and provided lots of great information, and was immediately available throughout our stay to answer any questions. Valerio was available on the morning of our very early departure to take us to the airport, and Valeria provided a take-away breakfast because we were leaving too early to use a breakfast voucher at the bar. I thoroughly recommend this BnB and hope I’ll get the chance to go back there.

Nothing! Don’t be put off by the location which looks at first glance a bit run down. It’s perfectly safe, people are friendly and it’s such a convenient location.

Very close to train station. We were able to walk there. The staff was very friendly. We had a short stay & we needed an early check in to get to our excursion on time. They were very accommodating for this. Our reservation did not include breakfast. So they gave us free vouchers for a coffee bar close by. Which was lovely. The room was very clean & very nice.

Even though the place we stayed was nice the area was not. There was trash everywhere on the streets. Catania should invest in sanitation for the city. It’s sad to see a beautiful historic city with graffiti & trash everywhere. Also the stairs going up to room on the second floor was dark with no lighting at all. We needed to use the flashlight on our phones to see
