The room was spacious, clean and very warm. The location was excellent and the owner was very communicative.

The hostess was very helpful and attended to our requests immediately. The first night was difficult due to noise coming from the boiler, but we were moved to another room until the issue was resolved. The shower had very good water pressure. The property is very centrally located, and overall the stay was very good.

Room 2 is not ideal for light sleepers, as there is a wine bar just beneath the window and the noise can be heard. No lift however we were on the 1st floor.

A great experience, and we will definitely return to Irena again.

First of all, I would like to thank Irena for everything. The apartment is beautiful, perfectly located, and very functional. There is a parking garage nearby, for which we received a discount thanks to Irena. For every question or need we had, Irena helped us and guided us — communication was excellent, and I want to thank her once again. Even though the apartment is right in the city center, it is soundproof, and there is complete peace and quiet.

The extra bed could be more comfortable.

Loved my stays

Irena is so nice and helpful, I really appreciate. The apartment locates right at the heart of Trieste, 5-10mins walking distance to most of the major attractions. And 15-20 mins walk to the train station as well. Room is spacious, nice decorated, clean and comfortable. I have nothing to complain, but if could have some simple cutlery say spoons, that would be perfect.

Perfect place and location.

Irene and her husband are very very nice people. The husband met us and helped with the luggage. The studio apt is very nice and inviting. I recommend this place as the location is absolutely fantastic. Directly behind the famous savior palace hotel. Very close to the square. Banks food and shopping right there. I would definitely rent from her again and suggest that you really get your value for this gem.

Irene will tell you that there are steps when renting. If you are handicapped then this is not a place to go. I'm mobile and steps were not a problem.

Beautiful studio in buzzy area near Piazza Unita D’Italia

Amazing location. Beautiful, large room in a restored building very near Piazza Unita d’Italia. Stunning fitted out and comfortable. Close to a good supermarket with some take home food and surrounded by bars and restaurants Irene was great with communication and we had no trouble letting ourselves in.

We loved it but if you do not like a bit of bar and restaurant noise you may find it noisy

Really great location, right in the center. The apartment looked really nice and Everything was clean.

The air-conditioning was so loud, that we needed to turn it off for sleeping. Additional kitchen equipment would have been nice (cuttlery, more plates etc)

Everything! The location is amazing, in the heart of the city centre. It was super clean and comfortable. The great extra is having shampoos and one use slippers. Irene was a great host and let us store our luggage after check out.

The space was great, close to everything. Very spacious and staff are super friendly. Irene had everything setup prior to arrival and check in was very easy.

Flawless Stay with an Exceptional Host

My second stay in Trieste was just as perfect as the first, with thanks to Irena, the most amazing host. She’s thoughtful, warm, and genuinely welcoming. The rooms are beautiful, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. I truly wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Highly recommended!

Boiler in cupboard in the corner of the room was noisy. Switched on every 10 to20 mins through the night and kept us awake! Maybe some sound insulation inside the cupboard would help?

A lovely comfortable room in the centre of Trieste.

Comfortable, clean, light and spacious - a lovely room. Well laid out with kettle, fridge etc. It was perfectly located for exploring Trieste and 20 minutes on foot from the train station. We were greeted by the owner who was very friendly and helpful.

We would have scored the property 10 except the noise from the live music on the Saturday evening in the area took the edge off what would otherwise an excellent stay. Fortunately, on Sunday to Thursday evenings it seems that live music must stop by 10.30pm.

Great stay, would definitely return.

Beautiful property located in the heart of the pedestrian zone in Trieste. Bars, restaurants and shops right outside the door. Tastefully decorated and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Shower was amazing!!! After coming off a cruise with a cramped shower and less than strong water pressure, it was awesome enjoy a spacious and strong shower! Toiletries were lovely and there were even 2 pairs of slippers for us.

Given the close proximity of the bars and restaurants, it was a bit noisy in the evening. If you are an early sleeper, that could be a problem, although I was able to fall asleep quite easily by turning on a YouTube relaxation music playlist to drown out the noise. Our room faced the street, so I imagine a room that did not would be quieter.

In the heart of Trieste

Welcome to the Triest city center where everything can be reached by foot. The room is spaceous and well equiped, The bed wonderful comfy. Access is easy and save.

Be aware you are staying the the center of the city which will test your abiltiy to find a parking space. You will also find food and bars just outside from the entrance but people tend to have longer parties when the weather is nice.

The apartment was in the centre of the town, with a lot of nice restaurants just a few steps away. The room was clean, spacious and really nice interior design. AC was exceptional. Raffaella was friendly and gave us tips right away.
