Clyde View Bed & Breakfast

From arrival to departure I was impressed. The welcome was great and included local area, breakfast requirements, security and parking. Exceptional. The room was beyond expectation with an awesome view and all the amenities I needed, including fresh milk not the single serving milk pots which get warm etc. The breakfast was beautiful, and eaten with even more amazing view. Simply put the place is 12 out of 10

perhaps a blackout blind or curtains on the window would darken the room on the light summer nights

The location was excellent, very peaceful. The room was extremely clean, comfortable and very well appointed. I truly appreciated the attention to details- a fridge with fresh milk and water, teas, coffee and a small snack and many outlets to charge devices! Breakfast was delicious and the hosts thoughtfully provided vegan options for me. Nigel and Marsha were very hospitable. Truly a delightful experience.

No drawbacks whatsoever!

The B&B is 3 miles from central Dunoon (head towards Sandbank) and is unquestionably worth the effort. Several buses can get you there within 15 minutes or so. It was adjacent to Holy Loch and I was struck by the calm, still beauty of low tide upon my arrival late afternoon. A short walk from the B&B is Holy Loch Nature Reserve. I did a 3 hour walk in a nearby pine forest and didn't see another person over the duration of it. Helen & Nigel are wonderful hosts and set a tranquil tone. The cooked vegetarian breakfast was a sumptuous delight each morning.
