From checking in to checking out Montague Villa was one of the best places I’ve stayed for a weekend break.Hosts Alison and Drew were amazing. Couldn’t want for anything more. It’s all in the fine details.

Booked this accommodation for relatives - they were very happy with it. B&B owners were very friendly and made them feel very welcome.
The property is a period property and my parents did mention that stairs may not be the most suitable for people who are a bit unsteady on their feet (this did not affect their visit). They had a lovely stay and enjoyed the wonderful view.

Alison and Drew were outstanding hosts, very warm and welcoming and their B&B has been one of the best my husband and I have stayed in. Montague Villa is set in a stunning location with spectacular views from the bedroom window, the bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows matched the bed's comfiness. Alison and Drew have amazing attention to detail and provided everything we could have asked for, from tea/coffee facilities in the bedroom, including a range of decaffeinated tea and coffee and fruit teas, to a mini fridge in the wardrobe with fresh milk and water. There was a menu choice sheet to fill in each day for breakfast choices which covered a range of cereals and all the makings of a full breakfast, all well cooked and presented, giving a great start to the day and again their attention to detail was evident. Alison and Drew were also able to offer advice as to good locations to visit, ferry times, food venues to eat at etc. Alison and Drew have made Montague Villa feel like a home from home rather than a bed and breakfast.
