This hotel was very acceptable for a short stay. We found the room a tad chilly. The restaurant was closed because it was sunday which we did not realise ahead of time. The breakfast however, was delicious.

Enjoyed our two night stay staff were very helpful and professional very good breckfast, but disappointing that the restaurant was closed apparently permantly for evening meals meaning a drive or very long walk in to Dunoon.

Staff service was very friendly & efficient. Rooms are a little dated but we had a very comfortable beds & everything we needed. Only criticism would be that the lighting was not great mainly due to high ceilings on 1st floor at front, however we had nice view of Clyde. A fabulous cooked breakfast was included in price. The hotel also offers evening dining but you need to book. Again food was delicious with a good selection available at a reasonable price. We enjoyed our stay & would revisit.

Lovely hotel a short walk to town, nice breakfast, which you pre book, compact but pleasant room, bathroom due a make over but no issues, nice staff and parking available outside. Been a few times now and have no issue in recommending. Prices have crept up though.

Friendly, close to town centre. But menu cards used to order breakfast which weren’t right on both mornings. Wrong order missing items but hot. Noisy other guests coming in late at night not the hotel fault but single men and ladies in a party arrived.

We liked the location of the hotel it's only a short walk to the river,the hotel was clean and well maintained we enjoyed the food and the staff were friendly and attentive, the only trouble was the water never got hot in the bathroom which made it difficult to get a shave and a shower.

Booked a long weekend away here and we absolutely loved it! Its such a lovely hotel with quaint and interior and furniture. The staff are so helpful and kind it was easy to see why this hotel is so popular. I will definitely be back as it was perfectly located for a beach walk and close to Dunoon highlights to visit. A long weekend to visit family. Hotel was very welcoming and although our room was very tired looking, it was clean and comfortable. From the time we booked in until we left, we felt looked after. Breakfast was 10/10. We took our dog and it was stressless and we would definitely stay again.
