Very kind host, easy in communication. Location with a lot of privacy, nice and quiet. Location has everything you need.

Second bedroom has to be reached through the first bedroom. Not really a problem when travelling with one family as we did, but may not be comfortable for all groups.

A cosy place.

Located in a quiet place, but near to the scenic sites. Terry was generous to allow us to use his washer and dryer even though it was not listed in the property. Nice to meet the donkeys.

Gate was a bit tight for the car to be driven through.

It was an adequate place to stay but I’m glad we were only there for 3 nights.

Great location. Loved the donkeys. Very easy to access (even though there was a lot of steps to go down.) Good parking. Good price for 2 bedrooms.

The property could do with a really good clean. The twin bedroom was damp and smelled musty. The radiator was very noisy during our last night. The twin bed had an uncomfortable mattress.

Relaxing place outside Killarney

The spacious accommodation is nicely located in the rural outskirts of Killarney, with a nice garden and an excellent view of the surrounding mountains.

The accommodation looks a bit old-fashioned but doesn't lack anything essential, though it is quite difficult to discover how the shower works. Sometimes a bit noisy from the neighbours' running water through the sewerage (?)

Lovely Stay

We loved the location. A short drive to Killarney but feels a world away. We loved looking out at the view of the mountains and the donkeys. The cottage suited us very well. It was lovely and warm and the addition of the electric blankets on the beds was a lovely touch.

The kitchen could have been a little better equipped with utensils etc, and there was some noise transference from upstairs. There’s no curtains in the sun room/ living space, and we felt there was not enough privacy. But these are all minor!

The place was in a beautiful location.It was cosy and spotless.We had everything we needed in the apartment.The decor had a real country feel and the viewing gallery was excellent.Really enjoyed staying there

It was in a great location on the outskirts of KIllarney. Accommodation was excellent. Very clean and tidy. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for making our first trip to Ireland such a wonderful time.

Poor property with a terrible bathroom situation !!!

we liked the field at the back with the view and the donkeys . The beds were ok not uncomfortable but the bedding needs improving

The bathroom situation needs addressing asap . it’s a tiny en-suite , not even a standard sink . The whole property needs updating . The furniture breaks if you open a drawer . No sets of plates No sets of glasses all oddments or in twos and threes . cobwebs in the conservatory . The house was cold . The property is situated on a very narrow road and quite steep steps to get to the entrance door . Poor air b&b but people say you get what you pay for … we paid over £500 for 4 nights , is that good I don’t know but it’s just not a nice place to stay . sorry !

I loved the location, the scenery, the remoteness, the property was so quaint inside.

I didnt realise it was attached to the main house, but this was not a problem at all as it was very private itself.

Great rental

Great location (very close to supervalue and Killarney town, while still being in the countryside) with a beautiful view of the mountains from the dining table. The property was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We will definitely book again!

Good place to rest and set out from to visit Killarney, the Ring of Kerry

it was fine. It was a little smaller than we thought it would be. It was rainy so that may have impacted this review as we were forced indoors. The mules were fun to feed, very responsive when you called them.

Lower the hedge so that you can see the mules and mountain better. There were not paper towels, shower soap, teapot. could use a little feminine touches. The photos gave you the impression you were above the ground level in the residence which is very nice.

Superb

Beautiful and quiet apartment with a sun-lit winter garden opening towards a lush green meadow. our kids loved the 2 donkeys that roam here ... and in the mornings and evenings you could even spy deer. This is a few kilometers outside Killarney on a small country lane, but there are plenty of supermarkets and a laundromat on the road to the town centre.

parking can be challenging to an inexperienced driver due to the narrow driveway's steep incline.

Steep driveway. This was ok when entering the property, but difficult when leaving. This wasn’t helped by the owner having lots of potted plants at the start of the incline - which also had to be navigated .

As I travelled with small children i was slightly disappointed that there was no washing machine
