We absolutely loved the location, just a tad out of town
It was quiet and peaceful
Dónal could not have been a better host!
He even drove us into town one night!
His home is very comfortable, and had a lovely sitting area outside.
We enjoyed the Ring of Kerry and Gap of Dunloe (among so many other things)
We liked everything about it.

The location is a tad out of the way but that is part of what we liked, especially in an area that is very busy. Definitely more rustic in feel, but that’s the charm as well. Plenty of blankets and some extra pillows to stay cozy. Fire was going when we got there and easy to keep going the entire time.
Were there little things I’d upgrade if it were me? Yes, maybe some thicker towels. But nothing I would say made me advise against staying. Great value in my opinion.
