Great for a quick overnight stay on your road trip

The BnB is a lovely character home with spacious bedroom and ensuite. Everything was very clean. It was a comfortable bedroom. Parking is easy and John, the host, was friendly and helpful. It is okay for a late arrival, early start overnighter.

The photos do not match the facilities on offer. Particularly the kitchen and common sitting area. The photos show full kitchen and living room. These photos are not recent representatives. It seems the kitchen and sitting area are now closed for private use. The current sitting area is actually the front door lobby area and the kitchenette has limited facilities for self catering and is combined with the laundry. Supplied breakfast is not an option. The BnB is on a major road next to a car yard. It is not in walking distance to any restaurants, pubs or shops. Even at off-season reduced rate, this BnB really didn't live up to the standards of other BnBs that I have stayed in during my road trip around Ireland.

Great starting point to the Ring of Kerry

This was our first stop on a road trip on the Ring of Kerry. We only stayed 1 night, but we had everything we needed for a comfortable rest before heading on the road early in the morning. John was very welcoming and forthcoming with recommendations about what to see along the route. Would definitely recommend to other travellers in the area.

The location was premier to get to the Gap or Carrauntoohil. John and his dad were quite pleasant and knowledgeable of their location and the surroundings.

John et Tracy sont adorables et ont un grand sens de l'hospitalité. Leur maison est très confortable et située dans un endroit très paisible. Il est indispensable d'avoir une voiture pour y aller C'était très agréable de discuter avec eux et ils nous ont donné plein de bons conseils Un bon rapport qualité prix pour visiter Killarney et ses environs !

La salle de bains était un peu vieillotte mais propre et fonctionnelle !
