OK for one night. Room could do with an update. Towels rather threadbare. Complimentary breakfast (self service) very nice. Host friendly and helpful. You can´t expect more for € 39.

The host was lovely and so helpful. Fresh bread, milk, yoghurt and cereal was an added surprise! Comfy bed! Large room!
It’s a family home, so was a bit noisy in the evening. Sadly there was no toiletries or hair dryer. Needs new towels and a good clean!

Lovely room, large and comfortable with en-suite

The location is stunning, it's a family home and the daughter was a fantastic girl setting out breakfast facilities in the morning for us.
The check in time at 7pm is a bit late, apart from that we had no complaints.

Caitriona’s warmth and friendliness put us at ease straightaway. She had thought of everything. From toiletries to breakfast options. Our room was cosy and spacious with an en suite.
Can’t think of anything!

The host was very helpful and friendly. It was lovely to meet her and her family. The private room with a bathroom was greatly appreciated. The location is easy to find and right on the beautiful Wild Atlantic Way.
There could be a little more time given to cleaning the rooms. The floor was quite sticky and had not been mopped, and there were cobwebs on the ceiling.

Its a functional house with owners residing in the house. A lovely family, hostess is extremely welcoming and made us comfortable. The location is beautiful.
The heating was non functional for the day we stayed.

Decided to stay in castlemaine prior to taking on the Ring of Kerry. Host gave us a wonderful map of places to stop along the journey. Very quaint room with en-suite. Loved the Mountain View in back yard

Really nice and cozy place, good breakfast, and very friendly owner. She provided us with all the information we needed. It is a 2-minute drive from the city center and about 20 minutes from Dingle.

Katrina was an awesome host who made us feel at home immediately. Whilst showing us our room, which was big and spacious, spotlessly clean, with an ensuit, she chatted about the places to go and see in the area, giving us brochures, etc. A set table at the top of the stairs ready for a "help yourself" breakfast with an assortment of cerials, bread, butter and jam in the fridge, topped things off. Her kids bobbing around here and there gave an even more homely feel to the experience.
The home itself sits well off the road, giving our view over paddocks a quiet, peaceful, refreshing feel.
Totally recommend this place and would not come this way again without staying another night at Katrina's lovely home.
Can't think of anything bad to say.

Catriona was very warm and welcoming into her home. Lovely family, very friendly. The area where the house is, is lovely and quiet and very little noise. I would recommend staying here.

It was exactly what we expected and a perfect stop over during our travels. The host was exceptionally generous and we really appreciated the tidy area set aside for breakfast.
Would be a bit more efficient if there was a lockbox for keys so that we didn’t have to wait for the host. But it wasn’t a big issue for us.

Very Quite location giving you a peaceful sleep. Catriona was brilliant as a host. Advised us for best places to dine, being late in the evening and most closed. Lovely breakfast provided. The house is just outside the village but with a real rural feel. The room with the ensuite was by far the largest we stayed in in Eire.
Everything was perfect.

Other than parking, the property has no redeeming features.
The property is poorly maintained and misrepresented in their photos. Common areas and guest rooms were so dirty that we left immediately. Only to encounter verbal abuse from the owner. A second guest also (independently) left the property, citing sub-standard conditions as her reason.

The hosts were both really nice and helpful, being in their home it is perfectly setup so you dont feel like your intruding. We really enjoyed the stay.
The directions on booking.com were wrong we had to google it. A little hard to get to if using public transport, but im sure the jost would pick you up from town if you pre arranged this.

Catriona was a very nice host, she gave us many useful information for our trip and she was very friendly. Breakfast was a big plus as well. The room was very cosy and comfortable with all the equipment needed. Would really recommend

The stay was great, Catriona was sweet and the family seemed kind. There's a cute kitchenette with kettle and fridge. The bed was comfortable for the night and the on-suite bathroom was convenient. One drawback with the bathroom was the shower, the temperature kept shifting no matter what I'd have it on. I would have it at a reasonable heat then go to boiling hot randomly. So be careful of that! Otherwise the stay went seamlessly.

Lovely host and family.
My room had an ensuite bathroom ... and a skylight over the bed - so you could stargaze as you fell asleep ... fabulous !! Might be a bit freaky in a storm, but there is a blockout blind !
There is a breakfast nook. Host provides cereal, toast, tea & coffee.
Loads of local information, leaflets etc. Decent wifi ... always a bonus in the west of Ireland !
Eircode takes you to the road .. it looks like a driveway, two white pillars.
The accommodation is the first house on your left, 'down the driveway'
