Location … amazing
Food from the restaurant was delicious
Not so much a don’t like, more something to be aware of. There are lots of steep stairs and if you have dodgy knees, then forget it. Travel light (we just had small backpacks). If you have a large suitcase, forget it.

The view from your cabin is priceless. Loved the hammock. The private secluded beach feels as pure luxury. The room service is excellent.
Breakfast should be included with these prices. You need to be fit to climb the cliff rock stairs every day.

Fabulous location and views of the ocean. It feels like you're amongst nature. Truly beautiful premises.
Great attention to detail in the room.
There is a relatively long initial walk to the property. This could be an issue for less-mobile guests.

Views are amazing and rooms very comfortable
A few more soft furnishings for outdoor comfort would be great.
Cover for the small pool might be a great option to deter monkeys 😀

The property was magical, hard to get too but the staff and the overview said it would be difficult.
The staff were so friendly and helpful really lovely.
The room was amazing and listening to the sea awesome. Great venue definitely the wow factor
The only thing that was an issue was the smell of urine in the bathroom, not sure if it was a leaking toilet luckily it didn’t go beyond the bathroom but was unpleasant when you walked in the room.
We only stayed one night and told reception when we left.

The views from the room, the interior design, the food. Honestly, it was all magnificent!!
I was just a little surprised by my own fitness level, when it took quite a bit out of me to get back up the stairs away from the resort haha.
Honestely, it was very doable, but it is good to know that you will have to walk up and down a few steps to get there!

Had the most wonderful time! A fantastic location with a lovely private beach. Amenities and staff absolutely top notch. Would highly recommend.
It’s a little bit of a hike to get there, especially if you’re bringing a suitcase, but it’s worth it. (And the hotel has porters who come meet you and help with bags.) The payoff is a fabulous hotel with amazing views. Loved it all.

Stunning location in interesting neighbourhood. Sea views and the sound of the ocean while you drift off to sleep. Staff are very friendly and can’t do more for you. Easy beach access.
It’s slightly awkward to reach, but then if you want to have this location that is to be expected.

Although the restaurant menu is limited in options, every option we had was fantastic.
We were in the 1 bedroom with pool balcony, and it was great value for what we had with the privacy and location/views
Staff are attentive and responsive and made you feel welcome from start to finish.
If I was being picky, the mattress could do with an upgrade.

Food and service was amazing!! The views are breathtaking!!! And you have access to a small beach and the ocean which is a plus!
Bathrooms are nice but with an open shower concept which fills your floor with water. The access to the property is a bit difficult…. Need to have good mobility for sure and not too much luggage!!

Some stunning views and very much a secluded and mindful spot to stay
It is quite a walk to and from the property and the balconies are near unusable with the monkeys

This is one of the best places we have stayed! If you want an experience then go here. The steps/access aren’t for the faint hearted, but if that doesn’t phase then just book it!
The mango smoothie at the restaurant wasn’t good, but everything else was delicious

The staff were so attentive and catered to all our needs! Service was excellent throughout our stay. The room was gorgeous with room service and room cleaned on request. Definitely would stay again and I recommend to anyone looking at staying in Uluwatu:)

Amazing resort if you like being amongst cliffs, rainforests, monkeys and ocean. Private beach and great location.
Just book it! Staff are so friendly, easy to get bike, can get food delivered to room if don't feel like heading out.

The layout, location, the view, the staff, and food. Monkeys were around but the staff is great at keeping them in line.
The room and bathroom lighting could be much brighter , or option to make brighter.

Amazing place, beautiful views, peaceful atmosphere and wonderful staff! Franco greeted us at the top of the steps ( yes many steps down) and carried all of our luggage! Everyone was so sweet and attentive to everything we needed. The beauty of the place was breathtaking perfect for watching the sunrise and sunset and there’s a private beach!
The monkeys do come out to play! They drank our beer it was funny! But yes when they come just go inside and lock the doors to be safe!

Location, cleanliness,
Staff weren’t helpful with luggage. Women in restaurant was wonderful and Franco at front desk was excellent, all other staff very lazy and unhelpful. 500+ stairs to reach property.
Restaurant food is terrible and that’s the only option for food unless you want to walk to top of cliff.

Amazing property. Very secluded part of Uluwatu. Be prepared to walk up and down stairs to get to and from
Your room and the hotel. If you’re game - it’s an incredible stay!!!

Amazing view from the bedroom. Everything was clean and organized. The staff were really kind and helpful.
It's a little bit far from the main street. FWIW: It takes around 2 minutes walking from the street to the hotel

Absolutely loved the sea view and quiet of it all. Especially beautiful during Nyepi, when the whole island is in silence.
I love how comfortable it was to stay in the air conditioned room, enjoying the sea view. Equally, sitting at the balcony and working/readjng, surrounded by the sounds of crashing waves.
Food was good too - the variety of options was important given how secluded the location was.
Staff was super kind and attentive!

The view is stunning, listening to the waves is very calming and grounding.
Walking around at night hoping I don’t frightened by the animals, but it is expected given the location.

The stuff was very helpful !!!
The view astonishing !!!
Didn’t eat much at the property, but checked menu, it seemed all good.
Despite necessity to walk towards the place, the location was good.
Fairly close to everything
It’s very very small.
Rather room for one than for two
Also nowhere to dry things because of monkeys.
I saw rats running past while I was brushing teeth in the bathroom. So better consider that.
Otherwise great, but for long stay :)

The Korowai certainly is an experience with cute rooms and an amazing view, a bit of an adventurous path to the hotel, but that's about it. The restaurant was also nice with a great view and very sweet staff.
Overall just too little value for the money. Considering that this is Bali, this was quite the expensive stay, and we expected a lot more. We're currently renting a spacious villa with two bedrooms, pool and a beautiful view for less than half the price.
As other guests have said, the rooms are tiny, and it was difficult to find places to put your belongings. The room had an aircon but the bathroom didn't, so going to the bathroom always left you sweaty, since temperatures and humidity were crazy over there.
A big letdown was the "private beach", which we visited once to find out that it's not only small, which is fine, but full of trash. It's rainy season here, so all the beaches were flooded with trash, which is horrible enough. But if you advertise with a private beach please make sure to keep it clean. The same goes for the path to the hotel, which was partly littered with plastic trash :(
Another thing that wasn't great is how smelly the towels were. We get that it's humid and everything but the towels should be washed at 90 degrees to avoid that kind of bacteria built up and smell.
We also found a couple hairs on the bed. So overall didn't feel very clean.
Last but not least, we stayed in room #1, which was located right next to the reception. We could hear everything that was going on at the reception, including the staff chatting. On top of that, the floorboards of the room had cracks, and you could see through to the storage room underneath and probably vice versa.
On top of that, someone was flying a drone in front of the balconies on our last day. Something that should be prohibited imo.
So overall, privacy = 0.
Overall I feel like this place would be ideal for younger crowds, looking for a bit of a special backpacker experience.
Accordingly, I think they should charge half the price max.
Right now it feels very overpriced for what it is.

Great view, nature, seeing monkeys from your terrace
Horrible, horrible 300 meter walk to the accommodation through a 1 meter wide, damp path with an open side without a safety rail partly with missing night lights, unclean feeling in the bathroom due to calcification marks in the toilet which by the way is very easy to get rid of by using vinegar or bicarbonate, unconcealed pipelines and water tanks at the entrance of the property, very steep and narrow stairs at property entrance without any safety rails, warning about this walk in very small prints at the very end of the ad on booking.com which I noticed only after I received confirmation email. Extremely overpriced for what you get!

Absolute gem of a location. Hidden away among the cliffs with a private beach all to ourselves. Way better than the crowded seaweed covered padang padang and Impossible beaches. Loved the view of the ocean from the room and the sound of the waves. Small private restaurant with delicious food. Bed was comfortable. Didn’t see any moneys, however did see a snake. Which was promptly removed by the hotel staff. Comes with the territory of the place being in nature I suppose and not the fault of the hotel. A charming place unlike 5 star hotels. Would recommend and stay again.
There was a bit of construction going on in the property but we had been informed and it was not disturbing.

The location and view are stunning!!
No tea and coffee making facilities in the room. May I suggest snorkel and Finn’s be available for rent?

The villa was amazing and the view was absolutely breathtaking. The villa is brand new and had great amenities and new bathroom. The outdoor bath was great to dip in and watch the surf. Staff very friendly and easy to contact for anything we needed. Also helped with our bags which was a lifesaver.
The only downside was the stairs - was a very big mission hiking up and down everyday. Also because the villa is built on top of the water the waves are very loud when trying to sleep but the view and location make up for it!

Beach white sand and blue water unlike other places in Bali

Very nice and unique place.
It is not the easiest place to reach, but I guess this is making it quite unique.

The staff were incredibly nice.
The view is amazing especially at sunset over the water.
Away from any other accommodations and quiet.
I booked the ‘suite with private pool’ accommodation for a special birthday weekend with my wife, and I was very disappointed with this.
This booking was very expensive and I didn’t feel it was worth the price for what we received in return.
the ‘suite with private pool’ accommodation has a private pool, lounging hammock and deck to eat your meals privately away from the other guests.
We were unable to use any of these facilities as every time we tried to use the deck or pool, we were chased back inside by a large group of monkeys, which tried to steal our food, drinks and possessions whenever we sat down, and used the pool as a drink and bathing tub for themselves, which seemed very unsanitary and I was worried about the transferring of diseases.
In other hotels we have stayed around Bali, the staff actively ensure that the monkeys do not intrude on guests areas, however this was not the case here.
The bed was also incredibly uncomfortable and requires more slats underneath for support. It felt like we were sleeping on a banana lounge and I woke up with a very sore neck and shoulders each morning no matter the position or number of pillows I used.
The lighting in the room was also basically non-existent, making getting ready for a night out at dinner only possible via the use of our iphone torches. The fairy lights along the balcony were also missing 75% of the globes (not that we could use the balcony anyway due to the monkeys).
In summary, I would not recommend this for the price we paid, and would not recommend to any of my friends to book here unfortunately, as it has potential to be so much better

View from the room and decor
Bathroom too small and shower not well built - entire bathroom would be soaked.
Room was right next to front desk and experienced second-hand cigarette smoke.
Wanted to purchase a bag from the hotel but the staff declined my offer
