We had a really lovely stay at Village Bali. The place felt very cozy and comfortable, perfect for relaxing. The location is great — close to the beaches, which made it easy for us to go out anytime and enjoy the area. The staff were incredibly accommodating and kind. At one point, my partner requested help to deliver something from the local market and they gladly assisted. That extra effort truly made our stay more special and memorable. Overall, a great place to stay if you’re looking for a cozy spot near the beach with helpful, friendly staff. We would happily stay here again!

A beautiful hotel in a wonderful location!

This was a really beautiful hotel and a great location!! Walking distance to the beach and restaurants and I loved sitting by the pool. My room was excellent, but the stand out was the incredible staff. Everyone was very accommodating and helpful, and made me feel very welcome.

The only negative aspect of my stay was the fact that there was construction going on with one of the day bed huts, which was very noisy throughout my whole stay. However, I understand that was just unlucky timing for me and is something that couldn’t be avoided by the hotel.

Postcard mood. Good value for money

Good breakfast, variety in the selection and well served. Cozy environment with attentive stuff. Big plus for the hairdryer (not so common and for ladies is always good surprise). Complementary refillable bottle available in the room while minibar is on top. Brand new aircon, looks maintenance is done.

Was rainy season therefore a bit of humidity is inevitable, more perceived from the bathroom towels. Small stains on the beds but overall looked clean.

Great room with worderful veranda! Location is amazing as it is quiet and yet close to everything. Plus the staff was always polite and helpful. Not to mention the breakfast that was so delicious and well-made, with great variety.

The room, pool area and restaurant were fantastic! The bed was so comfy, shower always warm, the gardens out front were beautiful. We stayed for 4 nights over Christmas- the staff are so lovely and breakfast options incredible!

There is construction everywhere in Uluwatu so anywhere you go there is a buzz of this happening. It wasn’t to noisy at all but it is everywhere

A stunning accomodation with excellent staff and facilities!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It was very clean and tidy! A very calm and relaxing accommodation, with an exceptional breakfast included each morning. Coffee was also amazing!! I would definitely stay here again!

It is very easy to get transport from this property, however due to its secluded nature, most shopping spots and beaches are a fair walk away.

The perfect stay in Uluwatu!

My partner and I absolutely adored Village Bali. It was our first time in Bali and what a perfect place to stay! Our room was clean and very comfortable, the facilities were great and hospitality was exceptional. Great location, close to the shops/ cafes whilst still away from the noise! We were always greeted by reception staff who were happy to help us with anything we needed. A special shoutout to Gun who was so kind and hospitable. We look forward to coming back to Uluwatu and staying at Village Bali again!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a wonderful stay at Village Bali! The breakfast was delicious, and the service was excellent throughout my stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and always went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The location was perfect — close to everything but still peaceful and relaxing. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bali!

The villa itself was lovely overall, but I was quite disappointed with the outside seating out front. The hard wooden furniture wasn't comfortable. It didn’t feel like a relaxing spot to enjoy the surroundings as I had hoped. A comfortable cushioning seating would make a big differenc.

We had a great stay at village Bali !

Great breakfast included . Great options & it was al carte preferred it to the mass buffet style at hotels . The staff so lovely pleasant & always happy to help with a smile . Loved the overall vibe. Lots of space to sit & lounge arnd the pool area in comfy gazebo style outdoor seating . Walking distance to Main Street with lots of nice restaurants , shopping & spas . This property is nestled between Anantara & Raddison . You can access impossible beach at the end of the road to watch the most magnificent sunsets. Steep stairs as with access to all beaches in Ulluwatu

There may be construction happening around so mornings you may b woken up by some noise . Check with the property before booking they r quite upfront abt it .

Its exceptional! I couldn’t recommend this place enough!!

I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough!!! Everything was exceptional - the villa felt like a little oasis away from the chaos of Uluwatu. The staff were SO friendly, and would always go above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The food was exceptional and in my opinion better than all the food we ate in Uluwatu. The rooms were clean, modern and large. And the villas are located just a short walk from the Main Street and beaches. If you have the chance to stay here, do it!!!

Peaceful and beautiful stay

We loved staying at Village Bali The garden,pool and room were an oasis of tranquility and beauty to return to after the busy streets which are not far away! Staff super friendly and service excellent. Food from the little restaurant very good. Also had a fantastic remedial massage. This small resort lived up to our expectations and I’d happily return and will be recommending to friends.

Dissapointing rooms, despite the good staff

Location

We stayed in Room 11, which unfortunately did not meet expectations. The room felt confined, with minimal natural light and limited ventilation. As a result, there was a persistent odor of dampness, accompanied by a strong sewage odor coming from the bathroom, which did not help In terms of amenities, no sanitary kit was provided, and tissues were absent apart from the toilet paper. Additionally, minibar prices were not listed anywhere in the room, which made it inconvenient for guests. Overall, the lack of comfort and attention to detail significantly affected the quality of the stay. What really bothered us is that for the exact same price we went two days before to a 5 star hotel which left us speechless, right across the street.

Everything was perfect - close to the all hot spots without being in the middle of it; beautiful gardens and pool area; room was lovely with comfy bed, quiet; really friendly and helpful staff. We had 2 nights but could easily have stayed longer.

10/10 hotel in Uluwatu

Such a beautiful hotel. We stayed here for four days - and had such a good time. The room was very cozy and nice, a private bungalow with our own terrace. The pool was very nice. The food at breakfast and for lunch/dinner was amazing - many choices and so tasty. The staff was so accomodating and nice, going beyond to provide a unique experience for us. They were easy to get a hold of, provided us with thorugh information before and during our stay, and everyone was so nice to talk to. Thank you so much for making our stay this memorable - we would love to come back some day :)

Gorgeous and well-priced resort in centre of Ulu

Lovely clean resort, with beautiful villas around a pool with cabanas. Grounds staff always around keeping the resort tidy. Location was great, not far from centre of Uluwatu, staff were helpful and attentive, the room was beautiful with nice decor and fixtures, restaurant and free breakfast was great

Unfortunately the toilet flush in our bathroom was very weak and needed 4-5 flushes to do its thing sometimes.

Beautiful property, very welcoming staff, and delicious breakfast. The bed was so comfortable and the rooms were so nice and relaxing. Shower pressure and temp were both amazing and the AC worked great! We loved our stay here. Very close walk to the beach, and a little off the main road so a little quieter, which was nice.

Relaxed stay, close to town but far enough away from the chaos.

Staff were so accommodating, we loved that we could hang around and use facilities before our late flight home. We were grateful for beautiful gardens and to be away from the Main Street.

Outstanding Stay – Exceptional Service from Start to Finish

Attentive and incredibly friendly staff. Well appointed rooms, excellent food, a bit off the beaten track which was just what I was looking for. Just all round excellent service. We even had umbrellas placed at the door during a heavy thunderstorm.

About the only thing even slightly negative I can think to say is that the car park could probably do with levelling. Honestly, things were all good.

perfect for a relaxing getaway

The rooms were super clean and comfy, bed was great, and the shower had good pressure. The pool area was really chill and perfect for hanging out. Breakfast was honestly amazing...freshly made every morning with plenty of options. Definitely one of the best I’ve had at a hotel. The staff were all super friendly and helpful too. Location was great - just a short walk to the main road with loads of cafes and restaurants, and only a few minutes from Padang Padang beach. Would totally come back!

It's quite tucked away from the busy streets, so you have to get a taxi ride back at night - this wasn't a huge issue as transport back was reasonably cheap and easy to access.
