Great location, beautiful old place and lovely hosts. Everything was as expected, and Laura and Arjen were super helpful. Calm place, but still a reaaonable walking distance away from central Amsterdam, and a quick bus ride takes you to Centraal station.

Lovely hosts, welcoming and welcome to share advice on where to go/eat etc. Adorable breakfast basket and lovely toiletries. Willing to go the extra mile by enabling a takeaway breakfast in the last day. There's a draw. Full of adapters and some guidebooks too.

the hosts were very welcoming, helpful and provided support when needed. The breakfasts were great! Laura made some excellent suggestions for meals and transportation needs.
It would have been helpful if there were some cereal bowls to use and a sponge in the kitchen.

The landlords were very friendly and helpful. The interior is very nice and designed with passion and an eye for details.
You have to be aware that it‘s a souterrain/basement room with two tiny windows that can’t be opened. To let in fresh air you have to open the door that leads directly to the street. That is not mentioned in the description. Also there‘s a lot of noise presumably caused by the water system. And as the landlords live directly on the floor above, you hear every step.
