It was okay?

The bed was super comfortable. Kitchen well equipped.

The place needs some TLC. Ceiling needs paint. The bathroom is icky. Toilet blocked and difficult to flush. Shower has mould at the bottom. Outside needs some care.

Overall cottage is very pretty and view is great - it is also basically on the beach which was lovely. The only issue is

The bath and layout of the unit. Location. Friendly hostes tried very hard to assist with all our challenges during our stay.

DSTV is not working with very limited channels. WiFi is not working 0.2Mb/s. Couch is very uncontrollable and difficult to get up from too low. Doors can't open and close without forcing it. Not backup power at load shedding. No water when we arrived for a full day ( what a waste with such a lovely bath). The kitchen is very cramped with the big table.

Pick up and drop off of keys is a struggle

It's a lovely weekend getaway, with the braai inside it was nice and warm. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in.

The location to pick up is wrong. The staff at Paternoster Rentals knows about the wrong adress but does not upload it on booking.com . When we wanted toe drop off the key of the house , Paternoster Rentals was closed. We tried calling 2 times, after that z women answered telling us were to drop off the keys.

Disappointing

The power kept tripping. Some lights are not working. Oven is not working. Garage door won’t open, the DB board sits in the garage, so when the power goes off you can’t get it back on.

location was excellent but the facility ie flat was not cleaned & we could only occupy the flat @ 6 the evening

the view & location

we were met by an untidy apartment. bed unmade, slept in & dirty sheets, dirty dishes in the sink , dirty toilet , & bathroom with dirty towels on the floor. a pan with old fried steak

The apartment feels like a junior suite in a hotel. Space wise. The kitchen was well equipped. The towels are big and thick There is aircon. There is a hairdryer

No sosp/ handwash in bathroom No candles for loadsheddding It's not far from the beach but still of course lacks the full sea view.
