Excellent stay!

Excellent location, spacious apartment with quality linen, lovely fireplace and right on the beach. They even provide basic staples like tea, coffee, sugar, salt. Really great!

Kitchen could be better stocked. Not enough cutlery and crockery, and the knives are so blunt, I could not even cut butter properly with it. Patio pillows - one missing - saw it at the neighbours - this should be checked before checking in.

A cosy home-feel cottage in an amazing location.

The perfect location. The cottage was comfortable and felt like home. There is a lot of space. The main loft bedroom is great and the view to the ocean from the bed was perfect. I enjoyed the inside braai and could stretch out on the coach whilst watcing sports.

I loved most things about the cottage. I feel that there should be more than 2 wine glasses - there were three of us staying in the cottage. Also, although I understand that the glasses need to be robust, that did not have to be quite as thick as they are. I also felt that the damp from the burst pipe and the toilet balanced on a piece of wood on the floor in the downstairs bathroom should be repaired. The mould smell is not pleasant. Everything else was amazing, especially the super comfortable bed in the upstairs suite. The cottage is in a fantastic position. I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful cosy house on the beach with incredible views and facilities.

The House was very beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. The indoor fire place/braai was so welcome and well positioned to warm the entire place. The Dishwasher was playing up and the team offered to service our apartment to make up for this, very kind.

We loved the direct access to the beach and being able to hear the sea. Lovely to have an indoor fire for warmth or cooking on.

It would have been nice to have the option to shower. A suggestion would be to mount an overhead shower above the bath with a curtain. We also found the lighting next to the bed inadequate for reading. Separate spot lamps are needed.

This is a beautiful property, the view is spectacular and would definitely return again.

The property does need some maintenance and fully understand that it is along the sea. Sliding doors need to be fixed as fairly stiff when opening and closing.

Staff were very good and provided help where needed. Property did not have a standalone shower which was not clear from the advert. Showering in the bath is difficult for a tall person.

Well worth it to stay here as so relaxing & quiet & private

The unit was clean, neat & tidy. The location was amazing...with beach right on your doorstep. Nice & private. The view was fantastic. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The unit also had a small pool in case you could not use the beach/sea. Although it was at the end of all the housing, it was not far from all the attractions and restaurants. Parking was available too which is great. This is definitely worth looking at if you are needing a place to stay.

Pictures on the site was misleading / not clear enough on what you are getting - we were expecting a sea facing apartment but instead got a room at the back of the property. The property itself is a bit run down, I can see this was a lovely place in the past but needs a refresh in my view.

The location is spectacular!

Pillows were very hard and the tv did not have many channels. For the price I do feel more of a variety should have been offered. The aim is not to watch tv while away but we did have a gap where we wanted to watch the rugby and was unable as the channel was blocked.

Idyllic, quiet, relaxing Paternoster.

Incredible views, lots of fresh air and light. Fireplace braai was great, and the chimney worked surprisingly well. Right on the beach as pictured. Comfy furnishings. Well-sized towels, good cupboard space, kitchen mostly well stocked - we appreciated the little touches like olive oil, salt, pepper, tea, instant coffee, good cooking implements, beach towels and beach bag etc. We’d happily stay here again, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

We would have liked a shower - but having said that, the bath was a particularly spacious one (although better water pressure would have served it better). Lack of a frying pan might take some by surprise, we were lucky to be traveling with one.

Heaven on earth

The location is stunning, also perfect for local restaurants, some which you can walk along the beach to. The accommodation is comfortable and very well presented. Light, airy and a joy to be in.

It had a bath but no shower. A couple of early season teething problems which were taken on board by the agent.

Beach Stay in Paternoster

The Location was on the beach. We enjoyed our stay very much. It was a beautiful place. Everything you need and more!! The main reason for visiting Paternoster was because we had a booking at Wolfgat. Now I know why it is listed as one of the top 50 restaurants in the world. It was tremendous!!
