A comfy little stay in Lille

After booking and then reading some of the reviews, I was a bit nervous to stay here. But we were delighted. The apartment is clean and spacious. Yes, the chairs in the kitchen are a little "tired" but I didn't feel they were dirty. Occasionally, there is a smell in the bathroom but I find that common in many European apartments. We were able to eat in one nice and found all the cooking things we needed. At night we did hear people making their way home from the bars, but it was very minimal. The location is great! Easy to walk everywhere and eating places very close.

We never could get the TV to work, I if it were my apartment, I would arrange the furniture differently to make for a more useable couch/seating area. A book with information on the property/Lille would have been nice.

It was very nice and I would definitely come back another time.

It was very pretty and cosy. Had that big city small apartment feeling and I loved it.

It could have been a little bit more hygiënic. The chairs were dirty at the seat. Also the fire alarm was in the closet and bot attached, which made us feel a little unsafe.

L’emplacement géographique et le coin cuisine… mais, pour ceux qui rechercheraient le calme, sachez que la rue Massena est singulièrement animée et bruyante la nuit.

Le canapé lit est presque post mortem et surtout, surtout, l’odeur d’égout constante qui émane des évacuations de la salle de bain (ou de l’humidité dissimulée via une réfection placo vite fait bien fait) est TRÈS désagréable, si ce n’est invivable.

Idéal à 2 pour un court séjour à Lille.

Idéalement placé, à quelques minutes du centre et entouré de lieux où l'on peut manger et boire un verre. L'entrée et la sortie du logement se font sans difficulté. La cuisine est complète et fonctionnelle. Appartement lumineux et propre.

Le parking est présenté sur le site comme l'un des point fort (et cela avait orienté mon choix): IL N'Y A PAS DE PARKING! A trois, il faut préparer soi-même le couchage sur un canapé peu confortable. Très bruyant à cause des bars à proximité et du peu d'insonorisation.

Dommage, le même logement a quelques rues de là nous aurait laissé un autre souvenir.

La proximité avec les lieux de visite

Les nuisances sonores liées au quartier!!! Impossible de fermer l’œil de la nuit (plus précisément des 2 nuits) les usagers des nombreux bars boites de nuits sont rapidement ivres et agissent sans aucune considération pour les riverains, c’est impensable que la police et la municipalité ne fasse rien pour stopper ces troubles de l’ordre public.
