The cottage is extremely well appointed. It has old world charm combined with excellent modern facilities and is very well equipped. The location is perfect for access to the Norfolk coast but is quiet and peaceful. The garden is well fenced and very dog friendly. The hosts are exceptionally generous providing several delightful extras including fresh flowers on display, beautiful sunflowers for our stay.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like but we were glad that we are all able bodied as the small winding staircase could have been a problem. The only thing I found missing (and this may be just because I didn’t find it!) was a clothes line or clothes airer to hang wet swimwear outside to dry after we had been to the beach.

Great location for a peaceful getaway, but within easy reach of lovely towns such as Aylsham and Holt, coastal villages like Blakeney and Wells, National Trust properties and Norwich, should you fancy a trip to the big city!
