Very characterful apartment, great facilities, in a beautiful part of town.

The apartment was spotless, located in beautiful part of the old town, just 10 mins easy walk from the station. Communication with the hosts was very quick and helpful.

The organisation of the apartment is quirky, following the traditional design of the building - the living room and sleeping areas are on one side of the landing, the kitchen and bathroom are on the other side. It was not a problem for us, the building is very quiet and feels private and secure.

Great location, centre of the old town. Excellent kitchen facilities. Experience to live like a local, there is a delicious bread shop and cafe downstairs. near to the tram station, 10 min walk to Bern station. Prompt response from staff.

Excellent location, cosy apartment

Fantastic central location at Zytgloggle, Saturday market just at the street below, in the heart of the old town with lots of restaurants choices, overall we enjoyed the lively vibes and night scenes of Bern. All within walking distances. Instructions pre check in and for the stay (including check out) were clear and easy to follow. The apartment was furnished with comfort although we didn’t use all, such as heater above the shower, kitchen utensils and ear plugs for light sleepers. The sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable and proper. Rob and Sara were great host paying a lot of attention to details, gave us a few tips to make our stay memorable.

Fabulous location, great facilities, beautiful modern furniture with impressive historical features

Perfect location for staying in Central Bern. Near the tourist attractions in Bern and shops with great transport links. Very clean. Lots of storage space for clothes etc. All the facilities you need. Great hosts. More spacious than anticipated.

I would have liked to have known the bathroom was across the hall and about the two flights of stairs prior but it doesn't put me off returning.

Nearly perfect

It is nice to have the chance to live in such an old and typical Bern house. It is in the middle of the city. The apartment is super furnished. Sara and Rob sent a YouTube video as instructions just before arrival, which was very helpful and straightforward.

I had to go to the bathroom and to the kitchen across the hall. When traveling alone it is a bit uncomfortable. Great though the proactive info from Sara that I can feel safe. I knew that there was no elevator. Tip for others: do not pack your bags too heavy :)
