Fantastic place in the old city of Bern with a beautifully tiled stove
It was fascinating to live in a historical place in Bern, just around the corner from everything. I really enjoyed the thoughtful design touches seamlessly blended with the apartment’s rich historical heritage. The apartment has a spacious and well-thought-out living area, complete with a dedicated workspace and a cozy sitting area. The true gem of the apartment is the beautifully tiled stove There is a separate, comfortable sleeping area, as well as a fully equipped kitchen, accessible via a short walk through stairs hall. The apartment is exceptionally well-stocked with everything one might need - a speaker, kitchenware, blankets, chargers, and more. I truly appreciated that!
I truly appreciate all the guidance provided in the apartment regarding heating, hot water, waste disposal, and other essentials, it’s very helpful! From a language perspective, though, I find that sometimes it feels more welcoming to read supportive instructions rather than strictly worded rules and regulations. Of course, I completely understand that this formal tone may stem from past experiences with guests not following the rules. That makes perfect sense. I do believe however it’s always nice to arrive at a place where the guidelines feel more like support rather than enforcement. Just a small thought! :)

This apartment in the old city is the place to stay in Bern.
The location is top. Walking distance to everything in the Old City, and to public transit in every direction if you need to go beyond. Friendly and responsive host. Bern is UNESCO protected not just because of the amazing preservation of facades, but also the interior structure of buildings. This is a great example.
We didn't mind, but be aware of the split of kitchen/bathroom as described in the listing. It's part of the charm of the Old City. You need to be ok with stairs, too.

It was a lovely three nights, we wished we could have extended our stay there!
The location incredibly convenient, there was even a lovely bakery right downstairs for us to grab breakfast before sightseeing and going out for the day. The beds were very comfortable and even the sofa bed was wonderful unlike a lot of other apartments we've been to. The owners were accommodating and very responsive to any queries we had which made the stay even better.
Everything was wonderful and we had no complaints. Any issues we had were promptly dealt with by the owners and we would most definitely stay there again if we had the chance to come by Switzerland again.

The location is very very central perfect to stroll in the city center. Living and bedroom are very cool, antique ambience with moder fortinuture and amazing details like the old stove and the wood parquet. Kitchen is very well equiped. Communication with the host is very smooth and fast, information super clear both about the city and the apartment.
Bathroom it is a bit small and for someone can be annoying going to common stairs to get there (but as I know before it is not a big issue)

Very nice, cosy apartment in the heart of Bern. Perfect place to stay in the historical center of Bern. We really liked how small historical elements were preserved in the apartment: 300-year-old (!) Parquet, fireplace, doors. I really recommend it if you want to experience a journey through history in the comfort of modern days.

il posto non e' per un business man, e' per turisti. molto carino, letto confortevole, ma la mancanza di colazione ed i servizi in un altro lato delle scale non sono il massimo per chi e' sul posto per lavoro un paio di notti.
