We have spent only one night in Bern and this place offered everything we needed. Great for a couple days stay as well .

Great location. Easy check in. Luggage storage before check in & after check out. Super cool rooftop terrace. Old city building vibe. Cleanliness, standard modern bathroom, floor heating. Great hosts.

Old building comes with downsides as well but nothing too bad (no elevator, tight stairway, not as much light etc)

A great stay right in the middle of old town Bern

We had a great stay at this apartment. We stayed in the 1 bead room apartment nr 5, in the upper floors, but it was not a big deal going up and down the spiral stairs, we were a family of 4 adults so for us it was ok, but with small children or for elderly people you should know that there are plenty of stairs to reach the apartment. We are very grateful to the staff for the directions to the apartment, they were very clear and also allowed us for bag drop and early check in so that is a huge plus . The location itself was about 10 minutes walking distance to the main train station, and right in the middle of the old town, walking distance to everywhere within the old town. The kitchen was fully equipped too, huge TV and a great stay overall. Thanks

It would be needed to do a thorough cleaning under the sofa bed more often as there was dust accumulated. And I do not understand the reasoning why it was asked to take of the sheets and pillow case and leave them on the ground after the check out. But Other than that everything else was great

The attic apartment is quirky, snug and clean, location was excellent to everything, staff good.

Greeted by sixty stairs to get to the apartment which did surprise us. The roof was so low in the bedroom it made it very tricky to get in and out of the bed. The roof was very low in the dining area making it very cramped too. We felt it was over priced.

Clean, quiet apartment in the heart of the city.

The apartment was very clean and quiet, it was well appointed with nice touches to welcome guests. The beds were comfortable and the bath was large. It was walkable to the heart of historic Bern and the train station. I also appreciated the quick communication and helpfulness of management in storing our luggage early.

It was a difficult climb to the top floor, so not advisable for small children or anyone with movement difficulty. Packing up heavy luggage was a challenge, and the thread bare carpet in places could be a tripping hazard. With that said, I would still stay here again.

Great Location & Great Stay

The location was excellent, right in the middle of the city. Easy walk from the train station & to many of the main attractions in Bern.. I don't really have any major criticism, other than the place had no air conditioning & the pictures on the website made some of the things look larger than they actually were. The bed in the living room, which my wife & I slept on, was pretty much a large futon, though it was still very comfortable for being a futon & not an actual bed. Air conditioning would have been nice, but the large fan that was in the room did help to cool things down. Our main goal in booking this property was location & that certainly did not disappoint. A bonus was the very nice book that the owner created, which had a map & highlighted the attractions in the area & this was very well done. Overall, place was just fine for our few days stay & I would highly recommend it.

Not for family stay, maybe for young students

Good location, public parking very close.

It's not easy to find it, and no one from the neighbors can tell you where the public parking is, than I found it on the Google map. The rooms were very hot, the ventilators were very very loud, if turn off the ventilators, too hot, keep them on, too noisy.

Amazing terrace and location

The terrace was so fantastic! Truly a great place to chill out, grill and enjoy the view. We were lucky enough to have perfect weather for the stay and so we got to maximise out terrace time. The host was super communicative and accommodating. The quirky second bedroom that you access via a crawl-height tunnel was very much enjoyed by our son. He thought it was the coolest thing ever. Although our mattresses was very low to the floor (in the main bedroom) it was a very comfortable bed. The kitchen was well-equipped and the location could not be better.

Honestly, a bit pricey for one night but it's Switzerland, and it is an entire apartment, so there's that. The description is super honest about the stairs (So this isn't a complaint, just information to potential guests). Our son did take a tumble down the stairs that lead from the door to the apartment up to the living room. He was fine but it showed us that hyper vigilance is required and that's something to keep in mind. A chopping board for the kitchen would be a fantastic inclusion.

beautiful city center apartment!

so much room for a city center apartment. everything apartments was clean and in order. I really appreciated the the little touches that the host included...favorite restaurants and shops nearby, and the map which included a wonderful itinerary to walk around old town Bern.

the staircase to get up to the apartment was a beast with heavy suitcases, but not a deal breaker at all...adds to the charm of staying in the old town.

Perfect location

Great location next to Christmas market, small but well equiped flat, we enjoyed our stay and would come back for sure. Contactless check-in and out was easy and fast.

A localização é muito boa, bem próximo da estação, perto de tudo. Eles tem um livro que serve como ótima referência para organizar os passeios turísticos pela cidade.

O acesso ao apartamento é por escadas em caracol, sem espaço de hall nos andares. A porta do apartamento da direto na escada.

Интересное решение для меня . Я хотел апарт рядом с вокзалом и нашел . Это стоит денег , но место удобное . Лестница наверх не испугала . Дом 1598 года и я очень люблю такие дома . Терраса порадовала и мы завтракали там . Хорошо что не было дождя . Теперь - важное. Если Вы не романтик , то не нужно экспериментов . Там есть тайная комната волшебная , куда нужно пролезть ползком. Там может спать один человек . Интересный опыт . Все увидите сами . Рекомендую .

Шум на улице . Но есть беруши , которые я не одел . Забыл .

Super eingerichtet, komfortabel und ruhig. Innen sehr sauber. Die private Dachterrasse.

Es gab eine helle Staubschicht auf den Möbeln auf der Dachterrasse, was man aber nicht sehen konnte, weil die Kissen ebenfalls hell waren. Und irgendwann muss in der Umgebung ein Abluftrohr geöffnet worden sein und es stank nach Fäkalien. Sonst war es aber sehr schön.

Zentrale Lage, für eine Nacht mit wenig Anspruch ideal.

Für unsere Gruppe von 7 Personen war es ideal. Küche war ausreichend ausgestattet und die Lage ist super zentral. Der Zugang zur Wohnung ohne Schlüssel aber mit Code war ideal für uns.

Leider hatte es für 7 Personen nur 6 Stühle. In der Küche gab es keinen Lappen. Allgemein war es dreckig und die Betten sind mehrheitlich eher unbequem.
