False Promise

NIGHT VIEWS AND GREAT LOCATION

No complementary drinks in the fridge, service staff rude rang 3 times to place a order every time I spoke kept saying I can't hear you and hangs up. Also we requested a room decoration for valentine's day, they confirmed but when we arrived nothing was done very disappointed.

Great location, right in middle of town. staff amazing! The Robot delivering food and the milk. Very cool.

Could do with an espresso. Sending down for milk seemed a bit of a hassel when waiting to make cup of tea.

Sudima stay

The room was spacious, the beds very comfortable & the breakfast was yummy.

It wasn't very obvious where to go to check in & when we arrived at the desk it took a while to be served. The room was not very soundproof & there was a lot of noise from the child in the neighbouring room.

Excellent hotel, value for money.

The location is excellent, right in the middle of the city. I like that they can keep your luggage before check in. A cute bonus is the Alexa they have in the room, kept little kids entertained. They have a robotic room service delivery as well.

Won’t be back again

I was charged a $100 bond and did not get my refund upon checkout. We left the room clean and tidy other than sleeping in the beds the room remained unused.

Great hotel, let down by restaurant service

Beautiful hotel. Modern, clean and friendly. Excellent location. Relaxing and ideal for business travel to the CBD.

The stay would have been perfect if I could get service in the bar/restaurant. The young serving staff ignore solo business travellers. After being seated and given a menu, the server never returned - couples and groups who arrived after me got water and then their drinks. I had to get up and complain. Ruined my short stay here. Even after complaining, the same restaurant server was just standing around laughing with mates.

An excellent stay with the friendliest staff!

We loved the location and the modern facilities! The decor was beautiful, but the staff truly made the experience memorable, some of the friendliest people I’ve ever encountered, and I travel often. The room was spacious enough for four adults - the beds were comfortable, and the shower pressure was excellent. It was a quiet, relaxing stay in a great location, and we were able to walk to most places without any issues. Highly recommend!

Sudima CBD is the best in the Akl CBD

We’ve stayed here 4 times this year. We always ask for an early check in and the staff are always obliging. They go above and beyond to make sure how stay is comfy. Even upgraded is on this trip to harbour view room

The beds were hard. Would have liked more milk, in a carton. Maybe rooms could have 1 firm bed and 1 soft bed.

Easy check in process. Parked just outside temporarily to check in. Room and location was fine.

It was dirty under the bed, the cleaners obviously don’t clean everywhere. There was wrappers and toys under there.

Excellent place to say

The whole time we were staying thee it was excellent, from the amazing greeting as we entered, the check in agent was exceptional and the whole place was great and welcoming. I will highly recommend as it is close for all travellers and has a variety of options.

There was only one thing that i could find that was a fault. It was the airconditioning in the room. It never went below a certain temperature and the room felt wamr most of the time. but this is minor so all was amazing.

Fantastic value for money. Would stay again

Location was fantastic, right in the CBD and a short walk to the waterfront. Staff were friendly and attentive, the restaurant was convenient and coffees were great. Our son loved the robot that delivered milk and room service. We couldn’t hear anyone in rooms around us, or the road noise.

Buffet breakfast was over priced at $38 per person for a very limited selection of food (barely lukewarm). When we ordered room service the food arrived cold.

A disappointing stay in a four star hotel

The harbour view out of our room window. The room was clean and tidy.

The room was too small for the maximum of four adults. Even the double bed barely sleeps two persons. There is not enough space for our luggage. Not enough space and hangers for our clothes and jackets. We have to ask for the third persons towel as I have stated three adults in my booking. There was no replenish of coffee in my room on the next day of our stay.

Warm and welcoming

We had a lovely experience, staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. Just wish the rugby had a better outcome for us South Africans :)

Very slick hotel

This is a modern, classy establishment. Minimalist comfortable rooms. Comfy beds. Even a pillow menu. The bathroom soap smells incredible🤣 Good views and location. Breakfast very nice. And gym passes at a local nearby gym. How awesome is that.

Comfy bed - perfect location - could do with milk and water in the fridge and bigger TV

Bed was so comfy and room was a good size for 2 people

It wasn't very cosy and had a almost like 'hospital-feel' about it. The TV was very small, we didn't feel like we could fully relax. Also the no milk in the fridge even a small amount in a glass bottle (if Sudima are trying to be sustainable) would have been nice, I feel like calling the staff to ask for milk is quite weird for a hotel, ideally you would like some water and milk for convenience when you stay somewhere, this feels fair for booking a room in general anywhere.
