Perfect place for true Balinese experience. The design reflects traditional Balinese architecture, from the open-air layout and natural materials to the intricate wood carvings and lush tropical gardens. Every detail (the alang-alang roof, stone pathways, and peaceful courtyard) captures the island’s culture and heritage. Instead of a modern or commercial style, the villa embraces genuine Balinese design and craftsmanship, which made our stay feel unique and meaningful.

We had a wonderful stay and will return again soon!

The staff was wonderful. Puti and Optak were there everyday to make a beautiful breakfast, and to take care of our rooms and us. We also saw Putu, the property manager every day. Our family loved the location where we walked to the beach, restaurants and shopping. A chef came to the villa and made a delicious seafood dinner with clams, fish, calamari and prawns for my son’s birthday. The property was beautiful and well maintained. We will return again!

We needed a place in each room to hang our clothes. Additional seating near the pool is needed, as there were only 2 chaise lounges for our party of 5.

Thoroughly enjoyable in no small part due to the wonderful staff.

A really nice place with extremely attentive staff. They provided wonderful support and could not do enough for us. Breakfasts were very pleasant. Beds extremely comfortable. Showers hot and lots of pressure. Pool a welcome escape from the heat.

Only 2 loungers by the pool when 3 of us staying. For a property that can take 8 people, it needs more.

Wonderful property with a true Balinese charms

The design of the property is very charming like going back to bali many years ago and is located in the quiet part of sanur. Komang the manager has been very helpful and made us wonderful breakfast, our friends particularly loved the fried noodles. Can’t wait to come back !

Priatelsky a velmi ochotny staff, ale to je tak vsetko. Vila ma svoje slavne casy za sebou.

Najlepsie co je na tejto vile je staff. Pani Upik sa o nas starala ako v bavlnke, bola velmi mila na nasu dcerku, a pan Ram bol velmi priatelsky a vzdy nam pomohol. Vila je v prijemnej a tichej lokalite hned oproti skvelemu warungu a super masazi v bebe cottages. Ma velky bazen velke izby ale fotky sa nedaju porovnat s realitou. Vila ma proste svoj vek a su tam rozbite kachlicky, zachod v chatke nejde, bazenik pri chatke bol komplet spinavy a mali sme problem s vodou, ktory sa potom vyriesil. Ranajky boli fajn, vzdy bol vyber a dobre sme sa najedli. Vo vile je stale niekto z personalu moc sme na to neboli zvyknuti ale pani Upik nam vzdy krasne upratala.

Vila je stara, potrebuje renovaciu, svetla nesli v bazene, iba jedno, bazenik pri chatke spinava voda.

Gedateerd en luidruchtig in de avond en nacht , veel ruimtes maar niet praktisch Late check Out gevraagd maar moesten voor 5 uur langer de helft van een 24 uurs prijs betalen terwijl er geen gasten na ons kwamen

Riesige alte Villa, sehr schöner Innenhof mit großem Pool, aber zu teuer

Die Villa ist wie auf den Fotos, nur liegen zwischen Fotos und Realität ein paar Jahre dazwischen. Eine elegante, alte Dame mit Stil. Die Villa ist riesig, für 4 Personen schon zu groß. Der Innenhof mit dem Pool ist sehr schön und gepflegt. Wir haben uns auch meist dort aufgehalten. Das Wasser im großen Pool ist sauber und angenehm kühl, die Innenwände des Pools wären zu reinigen. Ein Zimmer liegt separat in der Dependance im Innenhof. Das Frühstück ist gut, dürfte aber eher etwas mehr sein. Es wird stilvoll im Esszimmer serviert. Die Hausangestellten sind sehr freundlich und normalerweise nur am Morgen zugegen. Optak wohnt aber gleich nebenan und ist sofort zur Stelle, wenn man etwas braucht. Bequeme Betten. Wir konnten kostenlos 3 Stunden früher einchecken, den late check out (3 Stunden länger) lassen sie sich aber mit einem halben Tagessatz ordentlich bezahlen! Klimaanlage und kostenloses Wifi funktionieren einwandfrei. Vis-a-vis gibt es ein nettes, kleines Restaurant (Warung Memeri), wo man gut und günstig isst. Am Meer ist man in knapp 10 Minuten, aber die Lokale an der Promenade sind alles andere als einladend und der Strand ist voller Plastikteile. Toll ist es, beim Steigen der riesigen Drachen zuzusehen! Richtung Hauptstraße gibt es mehrere tolle Lokale (Restaurant Jhoii/frische Bioküche und Restaurant Dimattina/Italiener, super Pizza).

Insgesamt ist die Villa viel zu teuer, auch mit europäischen Häusern verglichen, besonders aber für balinesische Verhältnisse. Am Pool gibt es nur 2 Liegen, das ist eindeutig viel zu wenig! Die Handtücher und die Bettwäsche sind zwar frisch gewaschen, aber extrem fleckig. Richtig unappettitlich. Der umlaufende Balkon und die große Outdoor-Veranda im 1. Stock sind durch die herabgelassenen Bambusmatten sehr schwül und heiß, sodass wir eigentlich nie oben waren. Die Zimmer sind eher dunkel, Wohnzimmer und Esszimmer aber sehr hell. Durch das Strohdach kommen alle Geräusche ungefiltert in die Zimmer oben, manchmal Fluglärm, aber nicht wirklich störend. Man kann den Villeneingang nur von innen mit einem Riegel abschließen, aber nicht, wenn man weggeht. Das ist für uns Europäer ungewohnt, aber Bali hat anscheinend kein großes Kriminalitätsproblem.
