Tamarind Villa 100 mtrs from Sanur beach

Whilst older and maybe in need of a little maintenance, the place was perfect. Bill, the owner, along with his lovely staff Kadek and Komang, went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. Throughout the whole process from booking in, checking in and all the way to checking out with not a few questions answered along the way to help us out, Bill and his staff made sure everything ran as smoothly as we could possibly wish for. Would absolutely recommend Tamarind villa for any family looking for a largish property in as central a position in Sanur as you can get.

As mentioned the place is older and could do with a lick of paint here and there, but really there was nothing to dislike.

Bill was always easily contactable, even from Australia prior to our arrival. His orientation on our arrival was comforting, and the the complementary goodies in the fridge appreciated. The sleeping arrangements for our extended family of 10 were perfect and the multiple bathrooms were convenient. The lovely pool got a real workout and a few of the fitter members used the gym. Location was superb!!! In a lane only about 100 metres to the beach in one direction and the bustling shopping street in the other, with conveniently situated restaurants, supermarkets, ATM’s and venues for great massages. I would recommend hiring push bikes from the beach end of the lane if you wanted to venture further afield along the popular boardwalk. For family groups or friends Tamarind Villa is hard to beat in this price range.

Of very minor significance, but the iron could perhaps do with an upgrade, and some festoon lights around the pool would merely add to the ambiance during the evening swim.

Perfect location! Very close to beach for the best sunrise to start the day, lovely walks with a nice sea breeze & a wide choice of restaurants. Also close to the Main Street again with many restaurants, good coffee spots, spas & shops. Everything you need in walking distance. The Villa itself was very comfortable & spacious & accommodated our group of 7 perfectly.

Great location. The host was responsive.

Was run down and didn’t meet my expectations from the photos. In particular, one of the rooms had an unused kitchen attached and an outdoor shower with an old sheet hanging as a shield. The shower drains were blocked so would fill with water when showering. There was a random gym set in one of the kitchens. The pool light was broken and floating in the pool. This place has a lot of potential, however unfortunately it was too run down to really relax.
