Super family holiday

The location as it is really close to the beach and close to shopping and restaurants, we never cooked ourselves as there are many good places for breakfast, lunch and dinner in just 3-5min walking distance. The pool is nice for kids to play and it is spacious.

Maybe the mattresses of the poolside sun loungers could need an upgrade and when it rains very heavily which is does there is somehow no way to keep this dry and the terraces can get pretty wet.

Great Villa for family

The Villa is beautiful and big. Location is excellent which is close to restaurant, the beach and the Sanur port if you plan to go to Nusa Penida. We are family of 7 and love the layout of the property which is semi-modern but still has Bali character. Would recommended to any family. 👍🏻

Bedding freshness could be improved. Probably the humidity causes the comforter dampened.

Great location. The host was responsive.

Was run down and didn’t meet my expectations from the photos. In particular, one of the rooms had an unused kitchen attached and an outdoor shower with an old sheet hanging as a shield. The shower drains were blocked so would fill with water when showering. There was a random gym set in one of the kitchens. The pool light was broken and floating in the pool. This place has a lot of potential, however unfortunately it was too run down to really relax.

Tamarind Villa is perfectly located down a quiet street, about 2 minutes from the beach. It is also well located to access cafes/eateries in the main street of Sanur. There was 12 of us staying, and there was plenty of room for socialising, as well as being able to find a quiet spot to relax. The pool was very clean, and cleaners came each day to tidy up and change sheets/towels every other day. Also, we appreciated having the kitchen, as it helped to cut down costs feeding children. Bill looked after us extremely well and was always available to contact.

We really couldn’t find any dislikes but it is worth noting that the villa is a little “tired” and some of the bathrooms could use a re-tile or regrout. None of us were bothered about this, as they were clean, however some may not appreciate this.

Highly recommend it especially for large family groups.

The property was ideal for our family stay enough room for eight adults and three children (under 12 years of age)location was ideal .Bill and the staff were extremely helpful and easy to deal with.

Unfortunately there was a building site next door but that was beyond the villas control and hopefully that will be finished in the near future. So no more building noises.

Fantastic Villa

Location was amazing and space for everyone lots of areas to relax. Had some unforeseen situations that were out of everyone’s control and Bill was easily contactable and had everything sorted straight away. Would definitely stay again, loved the Bali feel of the Villa.

Its location is Awesome. 1 minute walk to beach and 3 min walk to main st. Bill the host was so helpful and nothing was a drama. Absolutely amazing Villa in the middle of everything. There’s no hiding that the property is a bit dated. But once you look past that, the size, location, support from Owner is next level and resulted in us having an amazing time. Looking forward to staying there again.

Our stay at Tamarind Villa in Sanur was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and completely at ease. The villa itself is stunning—beautifully maintained, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The serene garden and private pool created the perfect tropical escape, and every detail of the space was thoughtfully designed to make our stay as relaxing as possible. It truly felt like a home away from home. One of the standout aspects of our stay was the incredible hospitality from the owner, Bill. Nothing was ever too much trouble—his communication was fast, clear, and always helpful. Whether we had questions about the villa, needed recommendations for restaurants or activities, or required help with bookings, Bill was always just a message away on WhatsApp and responded within minutes. His attention to detail and genuine care made our trip so much smoother and more enjoyable. We can’t recommend Tamarind Villa highly enough! It was the perfect base for exploring Sanur and the wider Bali area. Thanks to the comfort of the villa and Bill’s outstanding service, we had one of the best vacations we’ve ever experienced. We would definitely stay again and have already started recommending it to friends and family. Five stars all around!

Excellent family get away

Communication with our host Bill was really easy. The villa was perfect for our group. 6x adults and 4x kids. The rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Air-conditioning was great, the girls did a nice tidy up every day. We enjoyed the well sized swimming pool, the location was perfect for walks to the beach or to restaurants. Definitely recommend.

There were seven family members staying together. It was perfect and if you had couples, you could have 10 people easily

It’s in a great location, and a very good size for a family group.

A few minor maintenance issues that need to be seen too. Unfortunately there are major building works happening next door and be prepared for 8 am wake ups each day. Hopefully this will only be for a few months.

Great Location, Close to everything!

We loved the location of Tamarind! Everything you need in walking distance! Beach, shops, spas, food and coffee! The space would be perfect for groups/ couples/ older children as all 5 bedrooms are separated and each has its own bathroom! Our Kids loved the pool!

If I had to say something it would be that there was no “toiletries” such as body wash, lotion, shampoo and conditioner etc. Not that this is a the villas fault just noting that for us with smaller children (6-10 years) they didn’t like being separated from the parents which made bedtime hard.

The size of the villa is just right for the family. Location was excellent only 2 mins from the beach.

Wonderful, quiet and spacious villa, close to the beach and main street of Sanur.

Amazing villa! Very spacious and great outside area. The host is very hospitable and helpful. He was always available to answer any of our questions or to help us arrange the pick-up from the airport, visits and tours. The location of the villa is incredible, only a one minute walk to the beach one way and to the main street of Sanur the other way. Since the villa is not located directly on the street, it's a quiet and relaxing space.
