Lovely place to stay. Quiet, comfortable and well equipped.

Quiet, peaceful location. Close to where we needed to be to see family in the Netherlands. Adorable home- larger than it looks in the pictures. Plenty of room for a family of four to spread out. Well equipped kitchen , comfortable bedrooms and livingroom. Lovely outdoor space. We were unable to use the outdoor space as much as we would have liked because of the cold temperatures during our winter visit but hope to book again in the summer.

ideal for escaping the hustle and bustle of the city

We went to relax from the city bustle and it was 1000% successful. The accommodation itself is absolutely satisfactory, there is seating right next to the house, a large garden or sitting by the river. It is worth mentioning the possibility of parking the bikes that we brought and spent 4 great days on them around the surrounding area, both near and far :-)

Beautiful surroundings, place is very spacious, comfortable and clean, at the beginning of April was a bit cold as not very hermetic but heating worked fine so not a big problem.

Would appreciate the hair dryer (as was listed) and more of the basics in the kitchen like coffee, sugar, salt... Sponge and dish soap would also be nice.

a great house, recommended for everyone who is visiting the Netherlands so you can relax and watch the great landscape, people was so nice and helpful. i really like it, will be back again in summer.

If you love the countryside, this is the place to stay. Set in a beautiful and picturesque village, yet in the centre of Holland to reach all important destinations in the Netherlands. The cottage is lovely, clean, comfortable with all amenities including a lovely kitchen, sitting area and a porch with sofas. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Hosts were very friendly, helpful and keep the cottage in excellent condition. Parking is also available. You will need a car to come here. Lovely large garden surrounding the cottage. Ideal for couples and families.

I do recommend this awesome quiet place

The Owners are lovely people. This place is just awesome. We lived with chickens, cats ans few dogs who visited us. A quiet place which can be your base for visiting some towns like Gorinchem, Gouda, Woudrichem and the amazing place of Kinderdijk. I do recommend

The house and garden are beautiful and very large. The friendly owners took great care of us and put in every effort to make us comfortable. We’re looking forward to coming again!

Gerne wieder

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Besonders schön war die überdachte Veranda, wo wir auch bei Regen draußen sitzen konnten. Das Grundstück hat einen wunderbaren Zugang zur Giessen und wir konnten im Fluss baden. Die Wohnung ist sehr sehr geräumig und schön eingerichtet. Sogar eine Waschmaschine ist vorhanden. Der Kontakt zu den Gastgebern war sehr angenehm und hilfreich.

Une charmante maison au bord du canal

Location très confortable et fonctionnelle, bien équipée, au calme et idéalement située pour visiter les environs. Un accueil très chaleureux et petit plus bien sympathique, des oeufs frais des poules de la maison.

Paradijselijk plekje

Woonkamer verrassend ruim, keuken uitstekend geoutilleerd, overdekt terras met lounge-banken en een complete barbecue-set (buiten te gebruiken). Slaapverdieping 'tussen de hanebalken', ondanks warmte toch goed geslapen (oa een ventilator aanwezig). Vanaf terras een fantastisch uitzicht op enorme tuin tot aan de Giessen, gezamenlijk toegankelijk met de eigenaren (een beetje in overleg / met beleid). Maar het prettigst waren toch de gastheer en gastvrouw. Zeer vriendelijk, discreet aanwezig, kleine probleempjes binnen een uur opgelost.

Hooguit wat kleine puntjes op de "i" en bovendien van tijdelijke aard, bijvoorbeeld: Tijdelijke overlast van vliegen: ontbrekend hor bleek al in bestelling. Overstromend doucheputje (water kwam onder de glazen deur door): meteen opgelost. Suggestie zachte bezem plus stoffer en blik als veel plezieriger aanvulling op de stofzuiger: meteen neergezet. Kortom, perfecte communicatie en snelle actie indien nodig/handig.

Ein tolles Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage, mit einem großen und sehr schönen Garten, sowie Terrasse zum entspannen. Die sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Gastgeber haben die Ferienwohnung liebevoll eingerichtet, alles ist vorhanden. Vielen lieben Dank nochmal, ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

Ruim en rustig huisje, prachtig gelegen in een grote tuin.

Lokatie, grote tuin, ruim huisje met veranda, rust. Binnen prima meubilair en leuk qedecoreerd. Heel attente gastvrouw.

Met wat kleine aanpassingen zou het een 10 zijn. Maar voor de suggesties hierover staat de gastvrouw open. Dus , in de toekomst verdient deze lokatie zeker een 10.
