Good, central location but with 4 adults for 5 nights, it is just too small and stuffy

We liked the central location, close to shops and restaurants. Also was the apartment well equipped and very clean. The owners are friendly and helpful.

What we didn't like was the fact, that there was no single window in the whole apartment, only a little flap at the entrance door. With four people and no possibility to get some fresh air in, that's not ideal and not to recommend. Also did we miss an area with a small couch to sit together comfortably. Also a little bench or chairs outside would have upgraded the place.

Home Away from Home When We Needed It

Hosts were fantastic. They were welcoming and accommodating. The facilities were very good. Everything worked and was clean and new. The hosts did a great job at maintaining the cleanliness. While Den Visser is not large, every effort was made to make it as comfortable as possible. Location is great. In the middle of the old town, but out of the way of the noise. We are beyond thankful for In Den Visser and it's hosts! We stayed here not as vacation but as temporary lodging while our child underwent intensive treatment for a health condition. We extended/re-rented 3x as our family was divided for 3 months, one parent at home with our other child and the other here with this child. It was a very challenging, stressful & emotional time for our family but In Den Visser became our home away from home and helped us make it through. The guys constantly went above & beyond with kindness & thoughtfulness for us. They provided everything we could possibly need & more in the apartment; when there was something else needed - they got it right away; and they were always available to tend to something or give a helping hand at any request. As a bonus to all they provided, the location is so convenient to groceries, restaurants, public transit, etc. We would highly recommend In Den Visser to anyone coming to the charming town of Dordrecht!

Ideal for my business trip.

The owner was very helpful as we were late arriving, the apartment was very clean and tidy. The location was great for the town Center.

There are no windows to open to get fresh air in, it was very hot and the owners gave us a fan but when you shut the front door there was no fresh air getting in. There is an extract system in the apartment but with no air getting in it was very warm and slightly damp smelling in the master bed room. The apartment met my expectations in lots of ways but did not in others.

Superb

Everything was great, good location, Rudolf was very kind, even though we arrived with delay. Appartment is equiped perfectly. The house is very old and renovated with style, a lot of old elements are preserved. We had a pleasant stay.

There are only few windows and they can not be opened (this is due to the rules that regulate older buildings). Nothing you can do.

Great location for exploring Dordrecht

Beautiful property and very central for exploring the city. We very much enjoyed staying here and slept SO well. Our host was there to greet us and show us around and could not have more friendly and helpful. I very much recommend this property.

There was no free parking beside the property but the short walk to the free car park was worth it.

Alles was aanwezig in de verblijf om een aangename tijd te beleven

10 minuutjes wandelen van het station Dordrecht. Eigenaar kwam kort de noodzakelijke info geven en respecteerde nadien onze privacy. Keuken had alles wat nodig was. Ideale uitvalsbasis om met de trein een stukje Nederland (Utrecht, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Kinderdijk, Dordrecht,.....) te bezoeken.

Voorgevel behoort niet tot het gastenverblijf, deze bevindt zich aan de achterzijde op een parkeerplaats.

Zeer goed uitgeruste keuken. Het appartement was zeer schoon

Op de site werd het idee gegeven, dat het om een woongedeelte ging met een authentieke voorgevel zoals te zien is op één van de foto’s. Echter met dat authentieke deel van het huis krijg je als gast niets te maken, sterker je hebt er geen toegang. Aan de achterzijde van het huis lijkt een voormalige opslag/garage ruimte verbouwd te zijn als gastenverblijf en wel één met slechts 1 permanent gesloten raam in het slaapvertrek. Zoals beschreven op de site is de ruimte klein. Waar wij over vallen is dat er een verkeerd idee gewekt wordt d.m.v. een foto van een voorgevel, een deel waar je als gast nooit toegang zult hebben Als gast is de toegang van het gastenverblijf aan een parkeerplaats.

Ontzettend prettig contact met de gastheer, de plek is echt fantastisch: middenin het centrum! De accommodatie is bovendien van alle gemakken voorzien en supernetjes.

Perfecte lokatie, midden in het centrum. Schoon' Gezellig ingericht lekkere koffie

er was geen woonruimte, de keuken was de zithoek. Geen ramen en of daglicht waardoor er geen uitzicht op de stad is. Appartement rook erg muf, jammer dat er geen raam open kon. Patio ontbreekt, er is geen buiten. Appartement is niet rolstoeltoegangkelijk, appartement heeft meerdere drempels, kozijnen en gang zijn smal waardoor een rolstoel niet kan draaien.
