Another delightful stay!

We loved that all of the towels were not put up above the toilet in the bathroom, they were folded under the sink which was really nice because it meant that when you flush the toilet they didn't get covered in particles.

There really wasn't anything that we didn't like. It was all really really nice! This is the only place that we will stay now in Sandpoint when we come up.

Everything was nicely updated! The staff was super kind, and it was in a great location in town for a good price.

I loved my stay. If you are light sleeper just keep in mind that it's near a train and larger road. That said, they generously offer great options (white noise machine, fans, and even earplugs). I didn't need any of those, but they were there.

Very comfortable place to stay on the Selkirk Loop.

Large room with space for our big dog bed. Very comfortable mattress and good shower. Looked stylish and had local coffee to make in room. They did supply earplugs and a white noise machine as some time someone must’ve complained about traffic and train noise, but honestly things were pretty quiet at night. Even our sometimes noise reactive doodle slept through the night.

We would stay again since it was easy, clean and close to everything.

The place was nice, clean and bright. Looked like it had been recently renovated and that as a plus. Also, since it was near a highway and train, they provided us with one set of ear plugs for sleeping, we were two guests and by the time we realized we only had one we didn't want to disturb the staff since it's a small operation. Same with the wi-fi code. All communication was done via text or email. We received notification on how to check in and that worked like a charm.

On bookings.com I thought we read that breakfast was included, yet we were not told where to get breakfast, or the times so perhaps that needs to be updated. We only communicated via text or email so we were expecting to get instructions. Additionally, we didn't get any instructions for the wi-fi either, perhaps it wasn't included.

Great updated room. Super communication from staff. Simple accommodations. Very clean . Great trains pass across street- not an issue- son loved it! Picnic tables nice idea for eating outside, yet wish it was enclosed from parking lot.

Wish there had been a little courtyard or a boot tray for muddy boots. I feel the cost was high. Wish we could have met a staff member to be able to verbally share our great experience!

Wonderful stay

The self- check-in was easy and gave us more flexibility with our arrival time. Also, the facilities were clean and the continental breakfast was good. The room looked recently updated and care was given to perfectly stage the room. I would happily return again.

The place was way way overpriced.

The bed was decent. The small refrigerator had a slim freezer section.

A busy highway and railroad track is only steps from the front door. There are no restaurants or convenience stores anywhere near the motel. Communication is poor. Instead of a magnetic key, there is a code lock. When we made a mistake and needed to clear to start over, the manager had disappeared into her unit. I tried to contact her by phoning as directed by paper on the office door but was unable to hear the recording because of all the noise from the highway. She did reappear but I was concerned if we were to encounter other issues how I might get assistance. The room was small and basic with a wooden folding chair. The shower stall is quite small allowing a person to nearly turn around. Obviously the unit had been recently remodeled so it was pleasant in appearance.

The cutest little secret, immaculate and quite affordable

For a simple inexpensive accommodation, this was FANTASTIC!!! The owner was in-touch with me since we reserved. Seems like family-owned business and Boy, was she on top of it. VERY clean. Simple but you can see the thought put into it. Everyone was quiet and respectful.

No place really to walk to. But we were skiing at Schweizer and it was much cheaper than staying right there at the ski village. I wish we could've stayed longer.

Unique spot to spend a night on the way through town.

Unique, loved the simple, modern decor. Very friendly owner /staff. Provided some amazing recommendations on places to eat. Short drive to downtown Sand point and the beach.

Noise between rooms (which wasn’t a problem for us, but I apologize to our neighbors…I have three teenage boys) Not much to see or do within walking distance.

Great stay at the Outdoor Inn!

We had a great stay at the outdoor in, it was well located to downtown Sandpoint (about 5 minutes) and Schweitzer mountain (about 20 minutes). The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The owner was also very responsive and helpful. It's a great local spot, and overall a great value - I would definitely stay here again!

Very cool "motel" updated with the local outdoors vibe of the area. Super well done remodel, loved the rooms and parking in front of your door.

Easy access to the road to Schweitzer, but a bit disconnected from the local scene in Sandpoint. Just 5 min drive with a car, but not walking distance from local scene in Sandpoint downtown area of restaurants and nightlife.

Perfect for a night or two

The best interior decorating you'll find on any motel in the United States. Most things have been well thought out.

Unfortunately it's still a motel with motel problems like thin walls, and a noisy AC unit, on a main road. Suggestion: Walls could be improved with more paneling, and AC changed to a modern split system to eliminate most noise.

Exceptional

Lovely large room, newly remodeled, could use a couple of comfy chairs, eco-friendly. You need to eat at the Hoot Owl a few doors away. Great breakfast, local folks, and the place is just a real hoot!
