My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay and will be going back again next time we plan to snowboard at Schweitzer

The hotel was in a great location it was very clean the staff were very friendly the rooms were spacious and the bed was very comfortable

The breakfast was the standard breakfast you get in a lot of hotels which isn't always the healthiest or best quality option but it's the same you find everywhere

Nice stay

The fact they charged for a spit to park i felt was ridiculous after paying for the room they added that on top of it as if we needed to be dropped off and wasn't made aware we were going to be charged for that.

Very nicely done up. Modern, clean. Bar is nice and the barman, James, is very friendly. It’s reasonable value for money given the location near the ski resort and time of year, but still a bit pricey if you’re a big family and need two rooms! Parking is easy. Pool and gym are great!

Could use more amenities eg robes and slippers in the rooms (especially for going to and from the pool). Higher quality towels. Better range of food at breakfast. Also more cups, etc in the room. There’s a microwave but no plates, cups, cutlery.

The best place to stay in Sandpoint!

I’ve stayed here a number of times when I need to visit my mom in her skilled nursing facility in Sandpoint. My stay has always been excellent. The staff is wonderful, so friendly and helpful. My room was blissfully quiet and this time I had a lovely view of the mountains and fall colors. The breakfasts are great and it almost feels like home. 😊

We loved the breakfast each morning. All the items we tried we delicious and fresh. Anytime we had a need or question the staff was very friendly, kind, and insightful.

Not fond of the extra fee for parking. It seems excessive and we feel there should be parking for one vehicle per room included.

This was not a fun visit (mom in nursing home), but Springhill made it much more tolerable!

Our room was great, just right size-wise. We had a view of the parking lot, not the lovely mountains, but we don't hang out in our room much, so that wasn't a big deal. The coffee could be stronger. :) Breakfasts were otherwise great -- good food, excellent selection. We also really liked the gym.

Wonderful destination spot

We liked the inviting lobby and personnel. The breakfast was so tasty . And the pool, plus spa were perfect..

The only thing we didn’t like about this wonderful hotel is the fact that there’s no ventilation in the well - appointed room. The window didn’t open for fresh air. When you took a shower there would be condensation and the room just felt like a spa.

The breakfast was fantastic! Maybe it's because I usually stay on the cheap, but I got a good deal at Springhill Suites and the food was a way better quality than what I normally experience at a hotel 😅. The ambience and spaciousness of the room and the breakfast/bar area was lovely.

The mattress was OK, too soft for my liking; I would have preferred something more firm.

Awesome place to stay in Sandpoint!

The location is perfect: close to restaurants and to the mountains, plus a few minutes from the town center mall. All the people who work there are nice and gave us great advices regarding what to do and restaurants. They don't charge me the parking fee, and I really appreciated it.

The pool area is awesome, but the pool could be warmer during fall/winter times.

Amazing hotel - cozy, beautiful design, clean. I love the outdoor patio with fireplace and lights, so peaceful and beautiful. Great gym. Delicious breakfast with good selection of foods.

Really small fridge underpowered. Be different if you were flying. But on a road trip everyone has food they need to keep chilled. Not enough places to hang things to dry. Not enough places to put your bathroom items. Air exchanger( positive air flow) wasn’t too helpful in moving moisture out of bathroom. You couldn’t really sit together, have a snack. Could have used an extra night stand.

The smell and feel of cleanliness of the entire facility!

The breakfast buffet food could improve and the time it is delivered so that people dont stand up in line waiting. The space could also improve it was crowded and no room to move.

A mixed experience.

This hotel is very clean and modern. Our room was spacious. Large bathroom with lots of counterspace. The location is convenient to the highway, but a bit of a drive from the town itself. The included hot breakfast was excellent.

A bit pricey compared to some of the other options located right in the town. The large in wall A/C unit made the room feel like a walk in cooler everytime it cycled on. Even with the fan on the lowest speed you felt a blast of cold air every time it cycled on. We felt too warm one minute and too cold the next and we slept in the bed farthest from it. I can't imagine sleeping right next to it. Also, I forgot an article of clothing at the hotel. I phoned the next evening and they said they would have the manager phone me the next day, but no one called back.
