Excellent stay with perfect location

OIVY Spadari is a wonderful hotel in Milan. The room was very spacious, with a large and comfortable bathroom. The reception staff were extremely nice and welcoming—especially the two ladies at the reception, who were very helpful and made the check-in process smooth and easy. The main highlight is the fantastic location. Most of Milan’s main attractions are within walking distance. There are also supermarkets, restaurants, and souvenir shops nearby. Reaching the railway station is very easy by tram or taxi. Overall, I am very happy with my stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

In the morning, booking an Uber or online taxi takes a long time to arrive at this location.

Poor maintanance.

Location is fabulous. Welcome host very friendly and helpful.

The bathroom lacked towel hangers and the shower lacked a surface to place the soaps. From the holes in the wall, one could guess that they had been there a long time ago.

Very unsafe! The apartment door opened by itself twice late at night – serious security issue, I don’t recommend staying

We faced a very disturbing issue during our stay. The apartment door opened by itself late at night! We contacted the host who said “this is impossible,” and when we asked to check the cameras, he refused and told us to speak with the building manager. The manager then said “this is not my responsibility.” This problem happened twice, always late at night, which caused us stress and made us feel unsafe.

Central but very noisy and without staff

Very central location

The rooms have no sound proofing so you can hear trams all night and street cleaning . You also hear from other rooms and there are no staff so it feels a little uncomfortable .

Avoid if you find any other option — very disappointing

The location was great - steps from Duomo, but expensive.

The closet shelves were very dusty — had to wipe dust from clothes. The place is neither a hotel — you have to self check in — or an apartment as it lacked utensils and most other necessities. We had to ask twice to receive more toilet paper and towels — we were given 1.5 rolls and 2 towels for a 4-day stay. We asked for more coffee pods and never received them. I feel the property managers and on-site staff just don’t care about the comfort of guests. Worst place I have been in years.

The location is good.

Very basic apartment, there was not even a blanket to sleep, just a sheet. The worst however was that the water was gone for the entire morning, no shower or toilet!

Perfect spot for a break in Milan

Great spacious room with a large, comfortable bed and plenty of facilities (fridge, dishwasher, soaps all provided). Location perfect for sightseeing and enjoying an evening out in Milan. Would love to come back.

Nice location, close to Duomo

AC wasn’t working during the entire stay, we tried to call to the phone provided, they didn’t help, saying that just set it to 23 degrees and it should work. It was really hot in the room. There is no staff at the place, only by phone. We asked for iron, they said go to the reception, which they didn’t have. Staff not helpful at all, you’re just on your own at all times

I wouldn't recommend staying at this property. The service is modern and terrible.

The location

The AC was completely broken and the service was miserable. I called them several times and they kept lying. They also refused to compensate me and their only response was "open the window to get fresh air".

Great location but disappointed

Excellent location and lovely big apartment space with a comfy bed.

We had been told in an email we were able to leave our luggage prior to check in in a luggage storage room within the property however upon arrival the woman at the front desk rudely would not allow us to do so despite us having the information on how to store our luggage including the code to unlock the door for said room. Our first night in the room was uncomfortable as the air conditioning wasn’t working which resulted in us having to open the windows onto the busy street and we struggled to sleep because of the noise. Tried to communicate this through booking.com to the hosts of the property but no one was interested in trying to resolve this. There was also no soap in the bathroom and for the price soap would be expected.

1) next to tram way, almost 24hrs there is an extreme noise like thunderstorm every 15mins, difficult to sleep 2) there is no cleaning, bin/rubbish collection service during your stay 3) very loud noise when water is used - even comes from other rooms 4) free TV doesn't work and no one checks before you arrive 5) no one in the reception to talk 6) no storing luggage service after check out 7) no stock up if you run out toilet paper etc 8) no fridge

Nice and specious room.

There was no drinking water in the room. You could put at least one bottle in the room. Very important thing I would advise to put a full length mirror in the room. There is plenty of space for it. There is only small mirror in the bathroom. When I took shower the water went cold after 2 minutes and I had to rush to wash my hair. That was very uncomfortable.

We were a little disappointed.

Good location. Modern flat. The local helpers were kind.

No one was in the apartment the day before, yet we couldn't occupy it before 3 pm. We couldn't even put our luggage in the holder. The contact person suggested to find an external luggage storage. There was scaffolding and tarp in front of the window. There was dust everywhere in the apartment, and were empty bottles under the bed. I think they should have mentioned the work going on in the house. The tram running in front of the house is very noisy.

Location of the property is best in heart of Milan.

Too much of water blocking in shower area. No room cleaning everyday. No towel change everyday. AC was malfunctioning.
