Delightful

Lovely peaceful apartment. Comfy beds and well appointed. Mateo was a delightful and helpful host. Our group was aged 62 to 86, the walk in to Florence was absolutely fine. Closeness to Firenze Campo Marte station allowed an easy day out to Siena. The restaurant next door did fab pizza. Would absolutely recommend.

If I travel back to Florence, this is were I will stay again and again.

The property was so cosy, spacious, very clean and a nice choice for a family of 5. Supermarkets and restaurants were within walking distance of the place. The host, Matteo, was very friendly and helpful.

Great stay overall, Matteo was very reactive and helpful

- The apartment is very spacious, clean, and well located, with a 20-min walk from the city historical centre. It is close to several bus stations as well. - Matteo and his mother were very kind and helpful, they arranged to be at the apartment before the check-in so that we could store our luggage. Matteo even opened the air conditioner before our arrival, as it was more than 30 degrees outside.

- Two bedrooms were below ground floor level (still with a window) and three bedrooms did not have air conditioner, but with a ceiling fan - The two bathrooms could not be locked (they added a sign on the door handle to indicate if someone is inside or not)

Gem of an apartment

Matteo was an excellent host. There was great communication before our arrival as well as during our stay. The apartment is very well located, close to the Campo di Marte station and walkable to the historic city centre, in a safe neighbourhood. The interiors were fantastic and the flat itself was very spacious, easily able to accommodate around 6-7 people. There are 2 principal bedrooms and 2 more smaller bedrooms in the basement. There was a charming garden as well. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights, and we had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Matteo gave us some restaurant suggestions too, and left some guidebooks in the apartment to help us plan our stay in Florence. Would definitely recommend that you stay here! Thank you Matteo 😸😸

The place is amazing and is near bus stops, stores and restos.

The property was well maintained and very cozy. We especially loved the garden at the back of the property. Perfect for sunny day lunches and sunset beers. The host was very nice and hospitable. He also provided us with all the info we needed. He recommended groceries, restos and commuting options. Helped us a lot

Big apartment with garden and amenities perfect for families

Big and clean apartment with garden and parking. Perfect for big families. Mateo the host received us, was extremely kind and explained everything. It is a modern and beautiful flat located on the groundfloor. A couple of toys found in house made our child happy. A safety block for the staircase was set in place. A cot was perfectly prepared and there was plenty of space in the main room. Good bath supplies. Kitchen was very well equiped. Touristic information was provided by the host and also plenty of guides in the apartment. The restaurant next door was nice. A supermarket nearby. Florence downtown was reached in 30 min either walking or using public transport.

As a warning for small kids or elderly people: two rooms were downstairs without windows, but perfectly clean and cozy. Also, one shower needed to be ventilated by opening the window, which in winter made it very cold. Finally, we're not used to street and neighbor noises, but that's a normal feature in a main street house.

Comfortable and clean. Just the perfect distance from the old city (20 min walk to Duomo) and local amenities (train station, supermarkets) just around the corner. We felt very safe and always knew Matteo was available to help if needed. Great pizza from the little trattoria next to the apartment.

Very comfortable apartment with a very kind host and very good restaurant next doors.

The host Matteo is very kind, he came to the place even if we arrived around midnight. He quickly replies to any of our questions using Whatsapp. He gave us a lot of valuable information (restaurants, transport options, places to see and where to go for shopping, etc.) The apartment is really huge and comfortable with two bathrooms (extra points here!). It has also a nice garden (we used it for the breakfast time). The special option is to go the LaFarina restaurant which is located just a few steps next to the apartment (recommended Fiorentina steak was excellent).

Matteo was a wonderful host and his property was perfect for our family stay in Florence. The property is located in a quiet street with a 20 minute walk to the Duomo.

Our adult children found the lack of air conditioning uncomfortable for a summer stay.

Spacious, very clean and convenient

Very clean and comfortable accommodation that is Incredibly convenient ; walking distance to the historic center with off street garage parking for one car. The apartment was HUGE with 4 bedrooms and very well stocked kitchen. Matteo was a great host who gave us excellent recommendations for authentic Florentine restaurants.

The shower stall in one of the bathrooms is quite small. At 5,4” and quite average in size, even I struggled with the space. Most men will have difficulty.

Spacious and comfy apartment away from the chaos

We love all the bedrooms and our family of 5 was very comfortable. We loved having a parking garage in the building. Great restaurant right next door. Supermarket was a 10-15 minute walk or quick drive. Place had a nice porch out back where we sat with coffee in the morning.

Matteo was an excellent host, very friendly, communicative, and gave great restaurant recommendations! The house was spacious, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the location was quiet. There was even a delicious little restaurant next door. We rented a car to get to Florence and to do day trips, so having the garage was perfect and so convenient. The location was great and only about a 20 minute walk from most attractions. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would most definitely come back on any subsequent trips to Florence!

Fantastic apartment in a great location in Firenze, exeptional hospitality! The apartment is really very large, comfortable and super super clean! One of the best we've ever stayed. Beautiful and very comfortable rooms. There is everything you need. Fully equipped kitchen, the back yard is great:) We highly appreciate the coffe machine and the free coffees and water provided for the day of the arriving:) Amazing pizzeria next to the apartment. After a long day walking with kids this is really perfect advantage :) The garage is just next to the main door. Everything was just perfect! We spent such a lovely time in Matteo's apartment! Real charm

The host was incredibly nice and effective, he was in time on the spot, made some useful suggestion, and responded to any questions in short notice during our stay. The apartment is cosy, well equipped, the garage is spacious, everything is perfect. The location is good, as well, the main spots are in 20-30 minutes walking distance.

Great choice!!!

Very spacious home and confortable for all the family (7 adults and 1 kid). The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need to cook. Baby crib (with a real mattress) and high chair for kids were very handy. Both bathrooms work right so it helps the organisation of a big family. The host, Matteo, was very kind and helped us anytime we needed him.

Perfect Florence Apartment

The charming family lodge is the perfect title for this lovely apartment. Our family of 4 adults were very comfortable but we could have been a family of 7 and have been just as comfortable. When we arrived after a long 24 hour travel, Matteo met us at the apartment with a friendly welcome. He was very kind and helpful with all the information of the apartment and surrounding area. The apartment was gorgeous with high ceilings and crystal chandeliers. The back yard was so nice, we felt it was a quiet escape from the sightseeing and it was nice to come back and have dinner on the patio. (The neighbors played guitar and sang, and we felt like we had our own private concert at night). The walk to the town center was only about 20 minutes and the walk to the train station, Campo di Marte was only 5 minutes. The restaurant next door is a must! We had dinner 2 nights and it was excellent. If we ever come back to Florence, this is the only place for us.

We absolutely loved our stay at this apartment! Highly recommended - I'd 100% book it again if we return to Florence. The photos don't show off how beautiful it is, it's huge! The garden is a lovely little oasis, if the weather had been warmer we would have used it much more. Matteo, the host, was amazing - helpful and friendly, he went above and beyond to make everything run very smoothly. We really appreciated how fully equipped the apartment was, it really felt like a home from home, so many thoughtful additions. The beds were really comfy and the blackout shutters were great. The main bedroom is stunning with huge doors that lead out to the garden. We loved the location and walk into town, it's a really pretty walk with plenty to see on the way. After a long day sightseeing the jacuzzi bath was perfect. Thank you very much.

Le logement agréable, grand pour 7 personnes. Très bon accueil et suivi de Matteo.

1 des chambres doubles et la chambre simple sont en sous-sol (avec fenêtres et ventilateurs mais donnent sur le trottoir et donc un peu plus bruyant) avec escalier à descendre donc. Pas un problème mais bon à savoir car pas vu de mention de cette disposition dans l'annonce.
