Burnside

Rob was a great host. He showed us around. We could see the apartment wanted for nothing. It was light and airy, due to the velux windows and lovely view of the garden. We were delighted with our Easter treats. Additional small eggs were dotted about the place. It was like an Easter egg hunt. Nice touch! Food essentials were provided, along with fresh fruit. Everything was catered for. The additional conservatory was an added bonus. It led outside to the decking and the garden. It was tranquil and relaxing. There is lots of wildlife. Binoculars came in handy! The spacious wet room has a brilliant shower. The location was ideal for exploring Dumfries and Galloway. We revisited old haunts. Should we revisit D & G in the future, then we would stay at Rob and Ang's place. It is so cosy and homely.

The bed was a little low and small for us. A larger TV in the living room would have been better.

Relaxing ,peaceful, clean,warm , comfy,cosy place with everything you need to enjoy a stay in a well looked after apartment and beautiful surroundings to enjoy when you wake up from a great night sleep and to sit and listen out or look up at the birds,owl and stars if you're lucky to get the chance. The garden is a paradise for nature and lovely to hear the stream and sit and enjoy all on offer. Great friendly host and great to chat with always at hand but not intrusive. I would highly recommend a great spot to stay in Dumfries and great for a base or a days travel to other areas.

Rob was a very welcoming host. It was a great location for us , as we were attending the World cycling championships in Dumfries. Rob had provided everything that we needed. Pretty patio area.
