Exceptional
The location is excellent only 10 minutes to Dumfries, and half an hour or so to Castle Douglas and Moffat. Really dog friendly my 2 dogs had a great time as did me and my wife. The Annex was lovely and clean and tidy. It's nice to walk up in the morning and sit outside and here the birds tweeting. It's just super relaxing. Will definitely be staying again.

No key to worry about, keypad to enter was great. Flexibility over short notice booking and dates. Happy with two dogs. Good check-in and out times. The dogs loved the walks. Corrina is a great host.

Disappointed
Location was lovely
Place appeared cobbled together with unfinished work with piping. Disparate bits of furniture, crockery etc. We actually both got bitten by bed bugs whilst staying there. We are country folk but that was a bit much! We have been staying up in Scotland during Covid 19 and the standards were much higher it has to be said Thanks for your feedback. You very kindly checked with my husband just after we had arrived , but having just arrived, we had not eaten or stayed overnight by that time so that was just his first impression. I see it was not the first bad review that you have had (August 2019). A paying client has the right to make comment, good or bad, a wise proprietor would take constructive comments on the chin and make improvements, not rubbish the client.
