A nice break

Welcome pack with tea, coffee, breakfast cereal and biscuits provided which was lovely. The property was clean, warm and comfortable.

We like to make some of our own meals while away so one or 2 more saucepans would be helpful.

Spacious and comfortable stay

The double and king size bed were very comfortable and lots of space. Well equipped kitchen. Nice bed side lamps. Having 2 bathrooms was handy with a party of 5. Location was nice and great that it allows pets.

Cosy, spacious property well situated for easy access to Dumfries

The property was really well situated for Dumfries. It was spacious with a well fitted kitchen for all our needs. The house was lovely and warm and well decorated, with plenty of fluffy towels and toiletries. The well stocked tea tray in the kitchen was very welcome and we thought the Christmas Tree was a nice touch.

Although there are two bathrooms, only one has a shower so you need to be quite organised to get everyone through on time to go out!

Comfortable property in great location

Very good location and very warm and comfortable property. Liked the fact that we had tea, cereal, biscuits etc. Lovely big living room and a big table to sit round.

Check out time at 9am is very early although we did get it extended after asking. Would be useful to explain what an igloobox is and where it is as we found it difficult to locate.

Excellent location for central Dumfries, gorgeous space, good size but cosy. Beautifully decorated and everything we could need to hand. Host was communicative & accommodating of any requests/questions. We only stayed 2 nights, would def stay again for longer.

Property is listed with quite a late check in time of 4pm & a pretty early check out of 9am. Compared to a lot of places these times seemed unusual but when requested to pay extra for earlier/later times host did best to accommodate.

Excellent inside but clean up the outside! Great place to stay

It was well equipped! The beds were comfy and pillows were just right! We all had good sleeps.

The outside area could do with some tlc! The weeds in the garden area and the front of the house really need serious attention! It kind of takes away the comfort of sitting outside and as the weather was fab we did sit outside but just looking at all the weeds was not good.

Very good accommodations

Great location for access to the town and the Dumfries show. Good modern appliances and comfortable beds. Nice flow in the house from front door to bedrooms upstairs. Suhki helped when we could not activate the key box, thanks. Welcome pack was a nice touch too.

Bath mats would have been useful. Hoover seems to be source of smell in the downstairs toilet and not the toilet itself. Easy to sort out.

Quiet Dumfries location.

Second stay here. Mature mountain bikers- ideal quiet location. Easy walk into town. Clean house parking for 2 vehicles. Sofa surprisingly comfortable for sleeping.

Twin room a little tight. Maybe a put-up bed in large bedroom could be an option god all male party.

It's a wonderful property. The only thing I would say is that there could be mirrors in all the bedrooms and also a shelf or something in the shower to put shampoo etc on. Apart from that there was everything we could have wanted. Thank you so much x

The house is in a quiet area close to town centre, only ten minutes walking and with parking just in front of the door. It is comfortable, spacious and it was very clean.

Key code given did not match at first, but Sukhi gave us another one to solve the issue. It would have been nice to have a shower in the upstairs bathroom.

The house is beautiful. Soo comfortable, the decor is soo pretty. It was soo clean and the flow of the house was great. We arrived to a warm house with bits for breakfast set up. It has a secure garden and enough parking. The owner is lovely.

A great place to stay

The old stables were comfortable and clean . There was a little welcome tray with milk sugar, coffee ,tea ,cereals , jams etc. Toiletries, towels and loo roll all provided. A welcome booklet with information, contact numbers,taxi numbers, attractions etc Beds were comfortable. Plenty of room for our family of 6 .All in all a great place to stay.

This was a very lovely, clean house in a great location. It was a quick 10 minute walk into town. Bedding was comfortable and the house was very nicely decorated. Jam, peanut butter, caramel bars, tea/coffee was all provided for free.

The shower downstairs is in need of repair as well as there are some squeaky doors/floors upstairs.

A great family home in Dumfries

The house was clean, large, and as described other than the wi fi.We were delighted to see there was internet at the property even though the booking.com site indicated that there was no internet. The beds were comfortable, and the linen good quality. The kitchen had everything required for a family to be able to cook meals.The location was great and the off-street parking was a real bonus. The heating worked well when required,as did the washing machine/drier I would be happy to recommend this property for anyone wishing to visit Dumfries.

The back garden needs some tidying up.Other than that small point the property, they met all expectations for a family.
