The facilities and comfort. Close to town, walking distance to shops, restaurants and walk along the Nith.
Not keen on the stairs up to apartment.

the apartment was very clean and organized and had everything we needed.
Comfortable beds, beautiful views of the city. I loved it and plan to return.

Refurbished apartment with all mod cons and good wifi. A superb view, a short walk from the town, the museum, and all the Robert Burns places to visit. Good communications with the proprietor. Parking in the street no problem. Very comfortable.
I might have missed reading it somewhere, but there are 52 steps up to this apartment, making it a problem lugging up suitcases. Not a big issue but navigating the smart TV is difficult because the remote control maybe needs replacing.
