Fab 2 bedroom cottage with hot tub

Very comfortable, modern, high standard accommodation. Comfortable beds. Lovely spacious hot tub. Nice quiet location.

Only thing is there could have been some chairs to sit at the table for meals. Also to have a Pyrex dish for the oven as only baking trays. But did not spoil the whole weekend, was a lovely relaxing break in superb accommodation.

A great place!

The hot tub was a great bonus. Rooms were a decent size and 2 doubles so was great for 2 couples to share. Shower was lovely and powerful. TV in both bedrooms and the lounge. Fully equipped kitchen. Large garden space. Very clean and tidy. Cosy feel with lamps to put on in the evening. Very close to shops and local attractions. Close to the church ruins which were interesting to see!

The not being able to leave windows open at night. Really needed to in the bedrooms as it was stuffy! The place had a damp smell to it which wasn't very nice. Would have loved to have lit a scented candle to combat that a bit but no candles are allowed, which I do understand can be a fire hazard.. Snuggle blankets would be a great addition to the apartment and maybe a lower mirror at the dressing table in the back bedroom.

Great facilities and location, if in the area again would stay again

Location, hot tub and facilities were great.

Bed in the green bedroom was very squeaky … changed room after first night. Darker curtains would be hugely beneficial!! Noise from above, with being workers using upstairs alarm clocks and early noise was disturbing. However understand this is not the owners fault.

Perfect hidden gem for the area

The hot tub is a great addition and log burner would be amazing too in the colder months. The little touches made it special with the Prosecco and cake plus nice towels and robes for the hot tub.

The bathroom could do with being slightly updated as I feel the rest of the house has been more modernised, the upstairs apartment could be doing with some sound proofing as you can hear the footsteps and phones vibrating when it’s silent at night but wouldn’t put us off booking again just honest feedback :D

A lovely home from home delightful stay

It felt like a home from home. The house was clean and comfortable and the real fire was lovely at night. My kids enjoyed exploring the ruins and plenty space to run around and have fun. The hot tub was delightful and fully covered so perfect in any weather

It was a little overlooked having neighbours upstairs but saying that we didn’t see or hear anyone so didn’t bother us at all.

Flat was decorated in a lovely way and was very cosy and comfortable with mostly great facilities.

Only a few smalls things, toilet door doesn't lock and the flat could really benefit from a table since there is a full kitchen but no where to eat the food.

Great apartment!

The apartment is spacious, comfortable and has everything you need. The parking is a huge bonus as is the hot tub! Communication with the host was personable and helpful. This is a great base to use to explore the surrounding areas. We would definitely stay again.

Good spot for a stopover on our travels.

Was spacious and well equipped.

The area you drive through to get to it seemed run down. Don’t be put off, though, the property is in a nice street. Didn’t feel as private as I’d like, as it felt overlooked.

Exceptional

Lovely clean specious rooms, well equipped kitchen, beautiful garden, ample off road parking, OLED TV in the main room, log burner with logs supplied & of course the hot tub Also great communication with the owners Just wish we could have stayed longer Will definitely return ❤
