Enjoying a riverside position, this maisonette is just minutes’ from Dumfries with shops, pubs and restaurants, and a short drive from the coast.. First Floor:

River View is a delightful maisonette situated in Dock Park, which is a lovely waterfront green space in Dumfries. River View is set over two floors and is very well equipped and as its name suggests, has views over the River Nith. Although there is no private patio space, the property is located within the Dock Park so there is lots of outside space for you to enjoy. If you want to take advantage of the many activities in and round the town without moving your car, the park is open all year round with a large enclosed play park as well as mini golf, trampolines, a seasonal café and beautiful walks along the side of the river. Only a short walk into the centre of the town of Dumfries, you will find many high street stores as well as museums, arts centres and Robert Burns House, where the famous Scottish poet, Rabbie Burns, spent the last few years of his life.
Further afield in this beautiful corner of Dumfries and Galloway, there are attractions in abundance from beautiful sandy beaches to dramatic cliff tops along the majestic Solway Coast. A visit to Caerlaverock Wetland Centre, a spectacular 1400-acre wild reserve is a must! With sailing, swimming, horse riding, fishing, golf, boat trips and water sports close by, there is something for everyone. Warmed by the Gulf Stream, there are many beautiful gardens to visit including Threave Gardens (National Trust). Close to the Galloway Forest Park, home to the first Dark Sky Park in Europe, and central to 5 of the 7Stanes at Mabie and Dalbeattie forests, it is a popular location for cyclists and mountain bikers. Beach 15½ miles. Shop 300 yards, pub 100 yards and restaurant 80 yards.
