Perfect location, warm and comfortable home, great host.

Winter stay in Dumfries.

The host was very helpful and contactable through the app. The 3 double beds are really comfortable with great pillows and lots of bedding. The kitchen is great. The living room is comfortable. The dining room has an impressive table for family meals. Two bathrooms with toilets. Reserved free parking directly in front of the house.

This is an old property so it has a few stairs ( 3 floors ) and a couple of steps around the place. Not suitable for mobility impaired people.

The space was so clean. We traveled with 5 adults and 1 child and there was the perfect amount of space. The location was even better.

A haven of comfort when we really needed it. Beautiful comfy beds.

Really good and useful food supplies left out for us and nice basics in the cupboard. It is a big, spacious easy to 'live in' appartment and made our time in Dumfries super easy. Its by a lovely park which is great for the dog.

Kitchen installation is a bit incomplete with some gaps and unfinished parts. It didnt matter though - the place is great value for money

Very comfortable and welcoming, with easy access to the amenities and a wonderful park to explore

Very clean and cosy, and well equipped. Great area for walking our dog, Met some lovely people and the area the house was in was very quiet, although within easy walking distance of the main shopping district.

Some of the equipment was a bit high tech for us old fogies from the country, could have done with user instructions and more lighting in the stairwell. Bingo, our greyhound, wants to impart he didn't like the stairs, but he managed

Fantastic place

The welcome pack provided by Dawn was a lovely touch! The location is fantastic, next to the river and a play park for the kids. Beds were so comfy!! We had the best stay and would return if we were back in the area.

Perfect stay. Close to town centre

Great apartment. Lovely lounge overlooking the river. Perfect for a group of friends. Top floor had two bedrooms and bathroom with another bedroom and bathroom on the bottom floor. Kitchen has everything you need. Nice gift of goodies to get you started. Really had no complaints at all.

No back garden to sit out in but could walk across the road and sit out front overlooking the river....or walk to the pub and sit in the beer garden which was 30 secs away.

Cozy home in the center of Dumfries

Beautiful and cozy home right by the center of Dumfries. The kitchen was very large and well equipped and the rooms were very comfortable. The whole house oversees dock park which is very calm and green.

The water pressure was not great but overall that didn't bother us too much.

Location was perfect for us as we had booked a special meal on Dumfries so we were able to walk to the venue. The house was very clean and very tastefully furnished. The owner had also left a welcome pack which was a nice touch.

Very tastefully furnished, extremely comfortable and very well equipped. Great location for pubs, restaurants and for visiting the surrounding area.

We liked everything about the property, just need to be careful with the close proximity of the stairs to the entrance to the kitchen and bedroom but that wouldn’t stop us booking again.

Welcoming

The apartment is well situated for the town centre and long walks along the river. Dawn had provided a lovely welcome basket, which went down a treat. I would definitely stay again if I am ever back in Dumfries.

Fabulous thank you.

The location was perfect for our needs, plenty of parking, very central. We come from the south coast and expected to be cold so came armed with hot water bottles and extra blankets, nothing needed, arrived to a warm toasty house, everything we needed was there, lights on to welcome us and spotlessly clean. We had a lovely stay. Thank you so much.

We are all single storey dwellers but we managed the stairs and got a bit of work out thrown in!
