Very comfy accomodation and large garden.
Bathroom on the small side. Electric shower has hardly any water pressure.
6.0 / 10.0
We enjoyed the location and the space.
Didn't like the shower/ bath configuration, as the electric shower was not working correctly, so there was a mixer tap fitted at opposite end if the bath . Thebed was uncomfortable as support underneath was not in good order. The kitchen space was small and overcrowded cwith an unnecessary table and chairs. There was no nightlight for the drive, so it was hard to park inside cat night. Also the ground location for one of the gate pegs sticks up out of the ground and is a trip hazard and can damage the tyres if a vehicle

Spacious and comfortable
Good location and easy walking distance to pubs and restaurants, short walk down to the river with its wildlife and the Caul.

very central, comfortable, good parking off the road, plenty hot water, good wifi, spacious lounge and bedroom, able to communicate with host easily, generous breakfast provisions supplied which was a lovely extra thanks
Bed was too soft for our liking but this is personal taste. Kitchen could benefit from a few more pieces of equipment like a sieve, wooden spoons, microwave dishes. Key box was very stiff and difficult to open.

Good space for a couple wanting to spend a night away on the cheap.
Lovely living room area to relax in.
Carpets were stained.
Bedding and bed wasn't the best.
Noisy resident upstairs playing dance music.
A very small ex-council house. (not appartment) in a residential street made it feel a bit intrusive to other residents.

Clean, good beds, good shower, good value.
Couldn't shut off central heating

Spacious one bed ground floor flat. Well furnished and presented. A nice touch is the coffee, tea, sugar and milk portions provided along with bread, eggs and butter portions. Off road parking makes this venue hassle free
Mortice key provided doesn't fit the front door or anything else I've found. Had a momentary panic when it wouldn't turn but then realised only the yale key was required

Great location with everything you could possibly need in the apartment. Private parking too.
Couldn’t find fault

The facilities were great. There was a washing machine, a full kitchen which also had some supplies. There was free parking, WiFi and a nice big TV.

We did not use the self-catering facilities, but they were adequate for those that needed them. The key thing for us was twin beds, on arrival there was only one bed made up.
The outlook to the front of the property was atrocious. It was on a run-down cul-de-sac.

Great location for exploring Dumfries and surrounding countryside
Did not see any staff and no instructions left in apartment at all.
Outside was not appealing inside clean but basic.

It is by the city Center by an off road. There are bread and milk provided in the fridge.
All furnitures feel a bit old, the shower can be a bit more powerful.

The flat was definitely handy for town centre and Burns House etc
Very clean 👌 Ideal for mum as its all on one level.
It allowed us to do our own thing which is why I love self catering
Nothing apart from the weather

Excellent location - nice garden and could easily access local facilities and amenities.
The property felt shabby - needs redecorating throughout as there were bare patches on walls and the gloss surfaces were chipped and grubby. In terms of cleanliness, we found blood stains on the bathroom door and a plastic ball covered in dust and cobwebs behind the toilet. A cupboard beneath the TV clearly needed repairing as the door was hanging off and came off completely when it was opened.

It was reasonably close to the town centre. It's in a nice, quiet location. The owner had left bread, milk, butter, eggs etc that was a nice touch. The place was comfortable enough but could be doing with a bit of TLC. The bedding and towels were spotless. It was also nice and warm as she had put the heating on. Shower was quite good too.
There's a bit of a damp smell when you first get in but we got used to it.

the location was brilliant, City centre but on a quiet spot. 5 min walk to the riverside and parks (was with my dog so extra points from him). the breakfast bits left by the host were appreciated and check in/ contact was excellent.
It wasn’t as comfortable as I hoped, the sofa was really very hard and needs more cushions- I also used the pillows but it was too hard to get comfy for long (for example a film was too long for comfort). The bed was exceptionally soft and therefore quite warm but that could be personal preference. The kitchen was missing some items that I needed for self catering, ie glasses for juice/water, can opener and a dish to cook something in the oven. this is a very nice property and has real potential just missing a few key things for me- the sofa being the main issue with my stay.

Great location, lots of storage, big bedroom, eggs, milk and butter left in fridge. Lots of tea and coffee.. smart TV and sky. Great value.
If I was to be picky I'd like to have had 2 keys... but that's it

Spacious rooms, except bathroom. Plenty of storage space. Bread, milk, butter & eggs for breakfast.
Parking on the road, although it turned out better than expected. Walls well decorated & good furniture but a few pictures would have made the rooms more appealing. Would have liked some instructions for key safe, and for TV.. Would have liked some garden chairs. Bathroom very small.

I have reported to booking.com that there were no smoke or heat detectors in the property, which unfortunately does not comply with Scottish Law.
