FamilyBO Apartments Santo Stefano

Excellent location in a beautiful part of Bologna. Very easy to walk around and see the sights. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. It was easy to find with the hosts directions and the entrance foyer is really beautiful. There is also a very popular gelateria just a few meters away along with lovely cafés and bars. Our host was fantastic, and provided us with some excellent recommendations for things to do and places to eat. They were very communicative before and after the stay. Very easy to recommend!

One bedroom was a little noisy due to a bar outside, but the host did include earplugs which was very handy! Honestly, if you're out at night you wont even notice it.

Die Lage ist zentral, das Gebäude alt und voller Charakter, mit einem Innenhof und einem schönen Treppenhaus. Ein- und Auschecken verlief unkompliziert und problemlos.

Die Ausstattung wird einem historischen Gebäude nicht gerecht. Möbliert wurde offensichtlich nach dem Prinzip: Das Billigste ist gut genug. Die Unterkunft ist dadurch kein Ort zum Verweilen, sondern bloss ein Ort zum Übernachten. Die Fenster sind wenig schalldämmend, weshalb Gespräche und Lärm aus den Gassen deutlich ins Zimmer dringen und den Schlaf stören können. Es werden aber Ohrstöpsel vom Gastgeber bereitgestellt.

The apartment would suit young people as Santo Stefano has a vibrant atmosphere, lots of parties, loud volume so if one is looking for a quieter stay it would not suit. It’s a lovely grand style apartment fabulous stair case leading up to the first floor. However closer attention to cleaning would be a plus.
