Tailana Island Pulau Banyak

L’isola è davvero bellissima e lo snorkeling è stato uno dei punti forti del soggiorno. Il ragazzo del diving è molto bravo e disponibile. Un grazie speciale anche ad Adela, gentilissima e sempre presente con il suo supporto da remoto.

È un peccato perché con pochi accorgimenti la struttura potrebbe essere davvero speciale. Alcune cose sono un po’ rotte o usurate e avrebbero bisogno di una rinfrescata. Il bagno condiviso è ok, anche se la pulizia potrebbe essere più curata. Anche la spiaggia purtroppo presenta parecchia plastica. La zona diving sembra ancora in fase di completamento. Considerando il prezzo ci aspettavamo qualcosa in più, ma nel complesso abbiamo comunque trascorso un bel soggiorno.

We spent 3 days there. The weather was sunny, the food was excellent, and the beaches were beautiful. It’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy snorkeling, and unwind in a peaceful environment.

Tailana is beyond words. It is a remote oasis. The island is beautiful and the beach huts very comfy and a joy to stay in. Edo and his family and staff are so warm and friendly, and they make the most beautiful food. There is so much food, they really know how to look after you. We enjoyed snorkelling around the island and were invited to join Edo fishing for our dinner. It was an incredible stay and so worth the journey.

Nothing. It’s perfect.

The island is beautiful, with some nice snorkeling spots where you can see plenty of fish, though most of the coral is damaged or dead. The local staff is super friendly, and the food is delicious with generous portions. The outdoor shower is also a lovely touch.

The pictures make it seem like a tropical, calm, and relaxing escape, but the island is very small and crowded with lots of huts, meaning lots of people. It doesn’t feel like a secluded island getaway but more like a hostel on the beach. Hygiene was also a bit an issue we found animal droppings on our bed. While we understand sleeping in a hut in nature comes with these challenges, we stayed for four nights, and the manager couldn’t provide fresh sheets. Overall, we found the accommodation overpriced for what it offered. If you’re looking for a quieter and calmer stay, we’d recommend Ira Bungalows on Tambarat Island instead.
