Cheerful little lodge run by the owners and their family. The staff really engages with the guests and the property quickly becomes a home away from home. The facilities and rooms are basic but well appointed and comfortable. My family took the Sunrise Trek and the cooking class and both were well run and enjoyable. I would gladly rebook The Cheeky Monkey.
There is significant variability between the individual rooms. My family booked two rooms on the main property and one was much better than the other.

Prachtige kamer. Heerlijke bedden, super leuk balkon, super fijne douche. Aan alles is gedacht. Hele mooie omgeving om je huisje en zeer goed onderhouden. Er stond ook een pooltafel. Super leuk. Zit een restaurant bij. Personeel is heel aardig en behulpzaam.
De jungletochten zijn echt fantastisch. Echt een aanrader om dit bij hen te regelen. De gidsen zijn echt heel behulpzaam en zorgen ervoor dat je niet in de drukte zit. We hebben meerdere keren oerang oetangs gezien
Het is een stukje lopen naar de stad en de rivier maar je zit wel echt in de rust en je kunt ook een tuktuk nemen
We misten een beetje een koelkastje op de kamer.

El entorno de las habitaciones era muy agradable, a excepción de la habitación Dora que da al camino y no tiene el encanto de las demás.
La habitación Dora no es comparable a las demás, ya que no forma parte de las casitas que dan al jardín. Está encima en la cocina, es pequeña y no tiene bonitas vistas. El personal de servicio (guías, etc) ocupan parte de las instalaciones comunes.

Nice and quiet area, with beautiful garden. Room is simple but clean with air conditioning.
Staff helpful.
For those who prefer to be close to tourists’ attractions, it is a 15-20 minutes walk. On our side it was on contrary an advantage as it is a quiet area and also a way to enjoy the daily life of inhabitants around.
