Asim Paris Guesthouse & jungle trekking

Very lovely staff, the food was great. The tour in the Jungle was well organized and we saw a lot of orang-outan. They made sure we had always everything we needed during the stay and they also picked us at the airport. I strongly recommend.

Magnifique endroit avec vue sur la rivière et des beaux jardins très bien entretenus. L’accueil est chaleureux et familial, on s’y sent très vite comme à la maison! Tout le personnel est gentil, serviable et très souriant. Ici, vous pouvez réserver votre séjour mais également les activités de treck de la jungle ainsi que d’autres belles options pour découvrir la région et la culture. Andy, le responsable de Asim Paris est également le guide pour le treck, il partage son environnement et sa culture avec tellement de gentillesse et dans une approche toujours respectueuse de la nature avant tout. Je conseille à 100% de réserver séjour + activités pour un contact facile, un départ depuis le logement et une flexibilité dans vos choix. Nous reviendrons, c’était merveilleux ! 🦧🦋

The hotel grounds were beautifully decorated and in a lovely setting right on the river. The food in the restaurant for dinner was delicious. The day hike in the jungle was amazing. Andy and Roy were fantastic guides who were very knowledgeable and great with our 2 boys. They found lots of animals for us to see including 4 orangutans. The lunch they prepared was laid out beautifully as was the fruit snack. Highly recommend this hotel for Andy and Roy! Hotel is located a short 10/15 min walk through the jungle into town.

My only two comments is there is no hot water in the rooms. Having said that it is not icy cold either. You can also occasionally hear motorbikes in the family room. Luckily it was not too early or late in the day but it was still noticeable.

- The bungalows were nice - When the construction work is finished, the guesthouse might be quite cool

-The whole guest house was still under construction (except for the bungalows) - No restaurant, therefore we had to walk through the dark jungle in the evening to get some food - The owner was a bit reserved
