Nice apartment with spectacular views but be prepared for the slope to access it.

Excellent sea views and generally clean and tidy. Good contact from the property owners before arrival.

Maybe a little unfair on the actual property but more detail needs to be given around access to it. There was a mention of a number of steep steps which we were prepared for but this was nothing in comparison to the very steep hill to the property from the town. It does mention the property being a couple of minutes up the hill but as you could only park at the bottom and the road is deemed unsuitable for vehicles it meant a hike to the top with cases etc. No issue if you are younger and fitter but probably should be made clearer on the ad. We obviously expect hills in Wales but would have liked some warning as to how difficult it would be.

Barmouth seaview apartment

Apart from the seaview nothing

You had to leave your car at the roadside to reach this property it has a very steep hill and steps to the property which you don't know about until you get the check-in details booking .com needs to make people aware before they book this property dragging suitcase etc up a steep incline I'm a active person but anybody has a slight mobility will struggle as for the goodmans freesat box it's ancient by modern standards it needs updating if I had known before I would never have booked this property .

Brilliant view

The apartment was lovely, small but perfectly formed, very clean and the view from the terrace was amazing. It was so central to the beach, shops and bars and restaurants.

It was not an issue for us, but the approach to the apartment is very steep and could be a problem for some. Also, I thought the terrace could do with a small tidy up, but the view more than made up for it.

Quiet, cosy & everything we needed.

Should have been made aware of steep walk with bags. There is a much easier way from behind St Johns church. Someone not used to steep walks would have found this aspect hard, Possibility of driving to base of steps not mentioned. Not sure why we had to strip bed when they have cleaners. A table on terrace would have been useful. This is not meant to be too critical, hopefully, just helpful, No toiletries, not much in welcome dish. We did have a lovely stay, would do so again!

We did find the steep walk up to the apartment was challenging but we did find a slightly easier route. This wouldnt stop us booking again but if we were less mobile would probably not.

Fantastic view, perfect accommodation for a couple solo traveller.

The walk to the apartment is so much steeper than mentioned, we felt it needs to be made clearer how steep the walk really is. We dreaded it. Carrying luggage up isn’t easy. If we were staying longer and took a case it would have been a nightmare. The patio area could do with some TLC. The view is fantastic but the patio area could be so much nicer

The cottage was very well equipped but the access to it was a let down.

The location had a great seaview and was comfortable but the steep hill to the property was very hard to negotiate.

I didn't like the steep hill to the property and having to park the car in the town carpark overnight which was very expensive was a let down.

A lovely apartment with amazing views of the sea and beach

The apartments was has a well equipped kitchen and a comfortable lounge area, the bedroom is warm and the bed is comfortable, the views are amazing from the patio area and there are seats to sit out and enjoy the sunset

Brilliant apartment, amazing views and ideal for a short stay

Loved the location of the property, easy access to the town centre and amazing views from the front/balcony. The bed was really comfy and the kitchen was well-fitted for cooking and sitting.

There were hardly any negative things about the property except for one of the bedside lamps had no bulb and we couldn't find a replacement. Also, the bathroom lighting only had two of the eight bulbs working so this made things a little dark.

The location of the property is very closed to the beach ⛱️. Seaview from the property is very nice view. The property is comfortable to stay. Overall is very good.

The location to reach the property from the train station is very hard to climb the uphill road. Basically with luggage 🧳 or other belonging carry very difficult. Another thing , after leaving the property one of the manager of this property complained that their cream colour chairs next to the kitchen find some blue Stain and said it happened from us which is totally wrong. I was very disappointed after hearing that complained. I cleaned the property in detail after leaving the property. They instructed me to turned on dehumidifier but it was not working because of overflow filled water inside. I empty the water bucket inside and it's star working. It's not my job but still happy to do that but still listen complained against me. Little bit upset for me.

Beautiful apartment with gorgeous views

The apartment had beautiful views of the ocean and mountains. It was cosy, clean, and very well kept. Lovely interior decorating with all the amenities there. The owners were contactable and helpful.

With a sea view comes a steeeeeeep hill. To get to the apartment, you need to go up a steep hill not advisable for people who have mobility aids or even with leg pains. It's not a long way up but it is tiring.l as it is quite steep. It is also advisable to be there in daylight. We got there very late and struggled to find the place.

Amazing views, comfortable apartment. Disappointingly damp bedroom

Great location with amazing sea views

The bedroom is at the rear of the property against a rock face and as a result gets very little daylight and is very damp with an industrial dehumidifier in the room.

Amazing views idillic setting, perfect location and gorgeous apartment

It was immaculate inside it was spotless with modern furnishing and well maintained, it had everything you could possibly need and felt very cosy and homely. The welcome pack was much appreciated. The view was amazing this was definitely the highlight of the property. The location was perfect. The hill is very steep and not for the unfit or anyone with mobility issues but absolutely worth the trek for the views and idilic location.

The patio area was disappointing it was not maintained empty pots, dead shrubs, no colour at all and the bushes (weeds) were so overgrown they blocked the gorgeous view when you were seated, these also attracted lots of flies and wasps. The chairs were also in need of replacing. No plug or bowl in the sink made it difficult to do the dishes.

The flat was very comfortable and cozy.

There was no mention of how steep the walk to the flat was. We were told that there was no access by car but not that it was VERY steep. This should be made clear so that people know whether this property is suitable for them. We struggled to carry our luggage up to the property.

Barmouth great, the location whilst very steep to access had a great view of the coast

There was an issue with an alarm continuously going off in a shared hallway. The hosts were notified but seemed a little reluctant to proactively sort it out. Had we have spent more time in the property it would have been a big issue and would have requested compensation. Others may not be so accepting of this issue in the future

Great little break in a lovely apartment

-Good size -Great views -Located close to the beach -Lots more supplied than expected, tea/coffee, iron, tea towels, washing up liquid etc

-The hill up to the apartment is very steep, if you’re not good on your feet or you’re older then it’s not for you. -Bush on the terrace in desperate need of trim as it blocks the good views when sat on terrace -No signal on TV -Some areas needing more of a thorough clean, cobwebs, spiders etc in corners and under furniture

Incredible sea views from high up the hill

cosy apartment with good rooms. Excellent panoramic views of the ocean, one of the few places where ‘sea view’ is an understatement! Nice little patio at the front where you can sit and enjoy the view, which is just as good from the lounge window. good kitchen with washing machine.

The sea view comes at a price, which is the very steep climb up to the property. This is not for anyone unfit or with mobility issues.
