Very spacious, light, and clean first floor apartment. Loved the quirky bathroom. Great location being close enough to walk into town but just outside enough to be nice and quiet. The welcome wine, Welsh cakes, and Bara brith were a lovely touch. Great for our family of four of two adults and two teenagers. It was perfect for us and would stay again.
There's no parking outside, so unless you're unable to get a brief parking space up the road to offload, then it's a long walk uphill with bags from the car park. It is great to have a free parking permit provided for your stay, which can also be used in other local towns.
The shower screen leaks and needs attention. There's no washing machine, but there is a laundry 2 mins away. Minor things.

Nicely appointed accommodation.
Access was directly off the main road with double yellow lines, so not possible to unload outside and hazardous to cross the road on foot when the road's busy, and nearest parking was a good walk up the road.

Lovely accomodation, plenty of room and we had a little welcome package of treats and wine. Apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Parking is non existent outside the house which had been in the information when booking so that wasnt a major issue. The booking did state a parking permit for the local car parks which unfortunately wasnt at the accomodation on arrival. I telephoned the management company and advised there was no parking permit just 2 out of date ones. He said that the owner dealt with the permits and he would contact them to find out why no permit but could we pay for overnight parking on our first night and we would be refunded. He would get back to me. We stayed 3 nights but unfortunately didnt hear from anyone since the first call. I had to pay £15 per night parking which was an unexpected and unwanted expense.
Everytime someone had a shower the bathroom did seem to flood. The shower screen didnt keep the water in...looking at some of the comments in the visitor book it does seem that a few people have commented on that too. The bathroom light was exposed with no cover which was a little concerning due to safety regulations.

The Flat was much bigger than expected
The entrance off the main road was a little tricky with children

The Apartment is a short walk to the beach. Despite being near a road, it was extremely quiet, probably due to the thick stone walls. The Apartment is also extremely spacious, nicely furnished and decorated and well equipped. You can see the sea from the front bedroom window and the mountains from the lounge window. I has good communication by text with the Property Manager too.
The lack of parking was a bit tricky but we managed ok. A Parking Permit is provided for the Main Car Park, which is a short walk away. All in all, it didn't bother us as the Apartment was so nice and reasonably priced too.

Everything that we needed. Very clean - in fact we complimented the cleaning company. Bed very comfortable. Apartment spacious and in a good location. As it was on a main road I thought it may have been noisy but it wasn’t at all.

Very close to the town, beach and station. Everything you need in the kitchen. Excellent comfortable beds. Good quality TV.
TV doesn't have terrestrial connection so everything you watch must be via 'Apps' or catchup.
Would be a little worried if we had small children because to get to the property you have walk a small distance along a busy road. Could do with a gate to prevent excited kids running out into the road on the way to the beach.

The owners provided a parking permit allowing us to park on a choice of 3 car parks in Barmouth. Having checked Gwynedd council web site we found we were able to use thje parking permit on designated car parks in other resorts.
No designated car parking to unload the car but we knew it before we booked so it wasn't much of a problem to us.

Everything is excellent condition
Nice sofa and TV (streaming only)
Black out velux blind in bedroom (wife couldn't reach it though)

The negatives are pretty minor, but I've listed them so the owner could make this place even better.

No curtains in living room.
No washing machine/dryer.
Pillows were very poor. Take your own.
The ridge in the middle of the mattress was uncomfortable.
