Perfect rest for our long day on the motorbikes.

Katty, the owner, was amazing. Right from the off she helped us with our luggage as we were soaked through from the ride on the motorbikes through torrential rain. It was like meeting an old friend. The house is beautiful. Spacious and beautifully furnished. We stayed in The Scotland Bothy room, which had a Scottish theme throughout. Super comfy bed and very cosy. Katty loves Scotland thats for sure. Katty was a pleasure to talk to, made us laugh and full of information. You can tell she loves having guests, and is very hard working. A German family were staying at the same time and also made our stay a pleasure. We had a great time at L'Ancienne Poste. Lovely fresh home cooked breakfast. Keep it up Katty. Thank you for looking after us. Highly recommended.

Wow! beautiful hotel, wonderful host!!

Beautiful house and very clean room. The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating. Quite a long walk into town for dinner but the owner acted as our own personal taxi service. Such a kind lady!!

Exceptional

Made to feel very welcome, allowed us to park our vespas in the rear garden, although the whole area had a feeling of being very secure. Room was comfortable and clean, we had the family suite and everything you could have needed was there. We wanted to go into the town centre for a meal and asked about taxis, but the host very kindly drove us in and gave us her number so we could arrange for her to collect us after.. she even collected the rest of our friends who were staying close by... thank you!

Wonderful place where you really feel welcome!

Lovely place! We got such a warm welcome and really enjoyed our stay! We arrived on two motorcycles and were able to park them securely behind a closed gate over night. The room was very comfortable and very nicely decorated. The hostess was so friendly and welcoming, and spoke good English. She cooked us a wonderful dinner in the evening, which we could enjoy at the table outside in the back garden. Breakfast was very tasty and had a lot of choices. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area!

A great B&B experience

Katty is such a lovely and welcoming host, we had the best stay in this beautiful renovated post office. She is also an amazing cook, we enjoyed dinner there on top of breakfast. Decoration is very beautiful too. Highly recommended!

Personal welcome and pride in doing things well made for a wonderful stay

The owner welcomed us personally and made sure we had everything we needed plus provided some local recommendations. The breakfast was beautifully presented, they take great pride in doing things well. We were very happy to stay here and would recommend.

Cozy cottage in an ancient Post office

Extraordinary people will welcome you as a family member in a cozy and nicely decorated cottage-like house. The atmosphere is fantastic, everything is perfect to the detail. I suggest you to have at least one dinner there, the food was delicious!! We will surely come back!!!

Arrived a stranger, left as a friend

I got the warmest welcome! The hosts are extremely nice and will do anything to make you feel comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and if you're staying multiple days, they make sure everyday the breakfast looks a little different. It's possible to eat there in the evening as well, which I would strongly recommend!!! (Katty, one of the hosts, is a cook!) I booked the smallest room which has everything you need if you're not planning on staying in the room the whole stay. It's also got a balcony with a pretty view if you want to read a book late at night or enjoy the sunrise. But since the living room and garden are so cosy, I bet you'll be out there ;-) The train station of Marloie is at walking distance and there are predifined promenades around the B&B and nereby villages. If you prefer to do activities or visit bigger villages, they are only a good bike ride or short drive away. So depending on what you like to do, you might prefer to come by car or by train. I stayed for 4 days and only on the last day I drove to another village to have a walk there, all the other days I walked around the neighbourhood and nereby villages.

Very nice place, with friendly hosts. The breakfast is excellent and the dinner was a wonderful surprise. The room is very comfortable and the salon is very cosy and nicely decorated. A pleasure!

Marloie is very small and it is better to have a car to move around.

Koppel dat ons ontving was zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk, pistolets die wij extra bestelden voor picknick kregen we cadeau. Ontbijt was zeer vers en lekker, keuze was beperkt. We mochten 's avonds in hun woonkamer aan de haard zitten om ons op te warmen.

in de living waar het uitklapbed stond was het erg koud, de vloer was in het gehele compartiment erg koud. Gastvrouw deed wel super hard haar best om het er warm te maken.

fantastisch verblijf, rustig gelegen

Het ontbijt was mooi uitgebreid, vers gemaakt roereitje en vers fruit erbij, de gastvrouw deed haar uiterste best om Nederlands te spreken, we werden ook hartelijk (alhoewel we een beetje te vroeg waren) verwelkomd met een drankje en een hapje mooie themakamer(we hadden de Schotse kamer)

Home sweet home.

Rien à redire, vu de l'extérieur, on se demande si c'est bien la bonne adresse (lol) mais dès que l'on franchit la porte on à l'impression de rentrer dans un monde où tout est merveilleux, quel contraste avec celui dans lequel on vit, c'est un peu comme Alice au pays des merveilles en fait !!! L'accueil est très chaleureux et plein d'empathie, les chambres paraissent un peu minimalistes mais tout y a été conçu de manière réfléchie. Le lit était très confortable car il y a longtemps que je n'avais plus aussi bien dormi, les sanitaires impeccables et notre hôte très attentionnée par rapport à nos besoins au petit déjeuner. Si mon timing le permet, j'y retournerai bien volontiers mais pour manger et loger cette fois. Adresse à découvrir et à recommander très certainement !!!

Die Wirtsleute sind herzlich und kümmern sich um ihre Gäste: Wir sind bei 36°C per Rad angekommen und wurden mit einer großen Karaffe Eiswasser empfangen. Die Terrasse lädt zum verweilen ein. Wir erhielten eine Empfehlung fürs Abendessen, das Frühstück war lecker und reichhaltig.

L'accueil était vraiment chaleureux. C'est un couple joyeux, très doux et simple. Il étaient au petit soin pour toutes nos besoins, avec un verre de bienvenue offert à notra arrivée. Et ils nous ont même véhiculé pour le restaurant le soir et Katty a réservé pour nous. 😇 Allez-y les yeux fermés!!!

Tout était parfait. Petit dej succulent avec les produits de la région. On a eu un peu de mal à avoir l'eau chaude juste mais peut-être on ne savait pas l'utiliser. Quelques toiles d'araignées sur le plafond mais rien de grave.

De gastvrijheid was heel goed, een hele vriendelijke en behulpzame gastvrouw. De kamers waren heel netjes en gezellig. Het ontbijt was heel uitgebreid en lekker.
